"Where you going today?" Roddy asked, I invited him over for breakfast and afterwards I got showered and dressed for today.
"Remember I told you about my sister and my mom?" I asked.
"Yeah" Roddy said.
"Well.. I'm about to see them today." I said sighing.
"What? Why you never told me?" He asked.
"Because I've been mentally and emotionally putting it out of my head and lowkey tryna mentally prepare for it. I don't even know how to feel right now. My dad wants to come with him, he just landed like two hours ago." I said.
"Where is it?" Roddy asked.
"Ta'Mya is graduating college." I said.
"And they expect you to come?" Roddy asked with an attitude.
"I don't think they expect me to be there. But Ta'Mya sent the invite for whatever reason. I'm only going because my dad practically begged me. Because his relationship with my sister is weird because of my mom. So he don't wanna feel like the odd one out." I said.
"You need me to come? You know I don't play about you. And they better not try double teaming you." Rodrick said, I smiled at the fact that he has my back 100%.
"Nah, I need you to just stay here. I got it, but I'll call you. I promise" I said.
"Alright, you better" He said.
"I will" I said.
"You look good though. Real good.." Roddy said grabbing my waist and I smiled.
"Thank you" I said. We not together but we're working towards it again. Taking it slow.
"You can stay here if you want while I'm gone, I'll be back in a few hours" I said.
"Aight I'll be here, chillin, eatin crackers and shit" Rodrick said and I laughed.
"Nigga I ain't got crackers here" I said.
"You got graham crackers" He said. I chuckled and thought about it.
"Oh yeahhhh. Well, help yourself" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek about to leave but he pulled my arm back.
"Hol up" He said pulling me back to him.
"What?" I asked chuckling.
"Where my real kiss at?" He asked, I smiled and leaned in giving him a kiss, but of course he made it a makeout session.
"Mmm okay Rodrick, I gotta go pick up my dad so we can head there" I said chuckling.
"Sorry, but go ahead" He said kissing my forehead before I left out.
