I can't [On-Going]

It's six o'clock in the morning when I woke up. I look at Bea who's still sleeping next to me while hugging her teddy bear.

I got up and prepare for today's agenda.

Lucy's still sleeping, I made coffee to wake myself up.

I'm not a coffee person but someone made me like coffee. I can still remember his words.

'Why don't you try to put some caffeine in your body. It would help you stay awake.'

The memory made me smile. I hate coffee because it makes your mouth smell and the smell itself disgust me. But he made my coffee a bit fun by trying to put some milk, chocolates and etc. on it. Now, I can manage to drink it without other mixture that he made.

I sigh. Memorise will remain as memorise. But we can't help reminiscing how good it could be.

I put the mug that I used in the sink and I saw Lucy walked out of the bedroom. "Your early." She said and made herself a cup of coffee.

"Yeah, I need to submit my resignation letter today. Can you look at Beatrice for me today?"

"Of course, that's what I always do. What time you'll be home?" She asked as she sits at the counter.

"I don't know, maybe before lunch?" I look at her wall clock and calculate my time.

"Okay, maybe we should eat outside? What do you think?"

"Sure. I'm gonna get ready now."

It takes me thirty minutes to get ready. I check my bag for the last time if I forgot something and then goes to the basement.

I met some of my neighbors as I walking towards my car, I greeted them a good morning.

Before I could start my Engine. My phone rings, it's Xander.

I rolled my eyes and loudspeak it so I can drive. Parati nalang siyang tinatawag kapag nag dra-drive ako. Tina-timing talaga niya noh? Napaka talaga nitong kapatid ko.

"Ano ba? Bat ka ba tumatawag kapag mag dra-drive ako?" Sabi ko at nag drive palabas ng basement.

He laughed from the other line. Natuwa pa ang mokong. "Malay ko ba na mag dra-drive ka noh? So kamusta ang pag-eempake?"

"Ayun, buong araw trabaho para sa lipat. Walang pahinga."

"How about my niece? Is she in favor na mag se-settle kayo sa Pilipinas?"

Alexander haven't seen Beatrice yet. Kung ilang taon na si Beatrice, ganun din katagal na di kami nag kita ni Xander. Nakikita niya nalang si Beatrice everytime na nag sk-skype kaming tatlo nila Mama.

"She's still digesting about it. Di ko naman siya masisi kung magtatampo siya saakin diba? Sa Korea siya lumaki eh." Sabi ko and I stop my car from kasi stop light.

"Yup that's how it works. Kids can adjust naman kapag within the situation na sila."

Malapit na ako sa Hospital isang ikot nalang kung nasaan ako. "I do hope na makaka-adjust ng mabuti si Beatrice sa Pilipinas. Di pa naman four seasons doon. Baka kapag mag summer na ay biglang maghahanap ng Snow."
