I snapped from looking at him. Looking good with his Semi-Formal attire.

Why does he decided to work here?

Sa dinami-daming hospital sa Pilipinas. Bat kasi dito?

Alam kaya niya na Family Business namin 'to?

Besides, kahit naman malaman niyang Hospital namin toh. Why here?

"Good morning." I said to him at pumasok na ng Opisina ni Uncle.

Gosh. Is this real? Grabe naman ang salubong ng unang araw ko dito sa hospital.

I sit on my uncle's couch, kasi nanginginig yung paa ko sa nangyayari.

"Hija! You're right on time!" Sabi niya at nag-beso sa cheeks ko. He sat down sa single couch na nasa harapan ko.

I notice sa peripheral vision ko that Evan move and goes to the single couch beside Uncle. Wait? Why is he still here?

Uncle look so happy that I arrived. I think I should've decided na magpa-late ng konti. Grabe, di ko talaga in-expect eh.

"Xandra, this is Evan. Our Chief Healthcare Operation Officer (COO). He work here for five years and kasali na ang residency. Just this year that he became the COO." Sabi ni Tito while patting Evan sa shoulders niya. As he's doing that, I reached for the tea that he's secretary made awhile ago. "Evan, this is my niece, Alexandra. She work for five years in Korea. Oh hija? Are you a Misis na ba?"

Na bulonan naman ako sa iniinom kong tsaa. I reach for the tissue sa Coffee table and cover my mouth while coughing. "Tito naman."

He just laughed at my reaction. Grabe, tawang-tawa talaga siya saakin noh? Feeling ko naging class clown na ako for him.

Tumayo bigla si Uncle, napatayo naman kaming dalawa ni Evan sakanya. "Well, Dr. Johanson. I will hand you my niece, ikaw na bahala sakanya." Sabi niya at naglakad na papunta sa kanyang table.

Evan nodded and walk out of the room. I just said my goodbye and follow him outside my Uncle's office.

Nagsimula na naman ang kaba ko, maiiwan kaming dalawa mag le-lecture lang about nitong lintek na position.

God knows what will happen if maaga kong nalaman na siya yung COO. Well, I'd rather wait for my brother na umuwi before ko ito kinuha.

Pero, kung hihintayin ko naman si Xander maka-uwi. Wala akong income for one year te. Ayoko na.

"As what the chief said, I'll be the one to train you to be in this position. Then, you'll be assisting me for a month so that I could give you the details you need to know." Biglang nagsalita si Evan. Sinusundan ko lang siya ngayon to where he would want to go. I can't wait mag work as a nurse bukas, ayoko na ng ganitoooo.

"If you don't mind me asking." I said, it made him stopped from walking and looked at me. I clear my throat to compose myself. "Do you know that it's me beforehand?"

I don't know what have gotten into my mind, why would I asked him that question? Maybe I'm just assuming that he only accepts this training session because it's me.

He silently observes me before he answer. "No, i didn't know." He said and starts walking again.

I exhaled, what did I expect? He's just doing his job.

For the past 5 hours of walking in different floors; meeting every managers of each medical departments. I finally managed to sit down in this office that Uncle gave me. Buti nalang may lunch break, kung wala siguro di na ako nakakalakad ng maayos.
