"I like you, Alexa."

Shocked overwhelmed my emotions. I don't know what to respond. He's quite a straight forward person. We just met, what's this? Love at first sight?

"Evan, I.. uh.."

"I know, It happened so quick, right? Is that what you're thinking?" He asked. I could feel his eyes intensely looking at me. But I couldn't get the courage to look back. First, I'm embarrassed with what happened to us in Aspen's house. Second, my brother would kill me if he knows about this. Lastly, I'm embarrassed AGAIN.

He reach out for my chin, tilting it so I could look at him. I slightly flinched from the gesture.

He hasn't said anything the moment we locked our eyes into each other. He just look at me, I think he's searching for answers within those eyes that he saw.

He breathe. "I will court you Alexa. Just let me introduce myself, and for you to know me more. Let me get to know you too." He gently rubs his thumb sa chin ko. "You don't have to answer me right away. I'll let you think about it."

He smiled. He tuck a branch of my hair behind my ear and put his hand inside the pocket of his shorts. "You should get in. It's getting late." He said.

I still couldn't find the right words to say to him. Atleast I should say something right?

I nodded and walk my way to our gate. As the moment I opened our gate, I look to where he is. "Evan..?"

He move a little forward from where he's standing. "Hmm?"

I could feel my ears is heated, my brain had an quick chemical reaction to my body. "I.. uhm.. Goodnight." I said and smile.

He just chuckled. The way he chuckled, he looks down looking all shy after his little confession.

I hurried to go inside before I realize such embarrassment I did tonight.

Goodnight? That's it? I'm so lame ass sht!

Nang maka-pasok na ako sa loob ng bahay. I took a peek outside, looking if Evan is walking away.

I could still see him smiling, he look towards our house. I immediately hide behind our closed door.

Then after a minute of hiding behind the door. I peek again to check if he's gone, I couldn't see him anymore. Then, umalis na talaga siya.

I sigh in relief, buti nalang. Naka-hinga na ako ng maluwang.

Before I could get upstairs, I could see my twin brother leaning at the railings of our stairs.

Flinched, as the moment I saw him standing there. Oh no! He knows that Evan came over.

"Xander! I didn't notice you there." I said in an uneasy tone. Gosh, I'm being obvious.

He walks towards the lounge couch and sat there. "Of course you wouldn't notice me, you're busy peeking outside."

Yeah, obviously. I clear my throat and compose myself. I pretend to yawn then stretching my arms, making it look like I'm sleepy. Besides, it's getting late na. "Imma... go to my room na. Goodnight brother." I said and I walk towards the stairs para maka takas na ako.
