There was something wrong with Sadie Harris. April couldn't really point out what, but it was something. She didn't really know much about her more than that she was Lexie's roommate and that she was suspicious. April new she was nosey, but it was just because she wanted to make sure they weren't making friends with someone who was a liar.

"Hey April! Wait up." Jackson was jogging, trying to catch up with her. He had been on his way to the football field when he saw her walking towards their dorms. "Where are you going?"

"To my dorm." No matter how much she tried to hide it, she was still upset about what Jackson had said during lunch. April was pretty confident and she usually didn't doubt herself, but she knew that some people found her personality annoying. Having her best friend pretty much think it was ridiculous that she would have a date, hurt.

"Look apes. I'm sorry about what I said before," Jackson scratched the back of his head, not knowing where to put his hands. "You know I didn't mean it."

Not having the time or energy to argue with him, April just let it go. "Yeah, it's fine." She had more important business to attend to right now.

"Really?" Jackson's voice sounded like a little kid's who had just found out he was going to Disneyland. He was surprised though, April wasn't the person who usually let things go easy. One time in middle school she had not talked to him in a week because he, accidentally, walked past her in the hallway without saying hello. This time he hadn't even used his pretty boy eyes. "Thank you Apes." He said and hugged her.

"Sure, no problem. I gotta go now though. Bye!" Before Jackson could protest she was already long gone, striding across campus with her red hair swinging left to right, and he was left standing alone.

April hurried back to the dorms with determined steps, most people were either in class or on their way to the game which meant that the hallways were deserted. This gave April all the time in the world for her mission. She knew what she was about to do was insane, not to mention probably illegal, but she was a control freak and couldn't help it. She walked through the empty corridor but instead of stopping when she reached her room, she continued walking till she reached room 128, Lexie and Sadie's room. She pulled out the key she had snatched from Lexie earlier, Alex wasn't the only one who hung out with people just to get to their roomates, and opened the door to the room.

The rooms was fairly clean, at least for being occupied by college students. Lexie had made her bed but Sadies was still a bit roughed up. April didn't really know what she was looking for more than something that would incriminate Sadie. It wasn't like she wanted to find something, it would be good if she didn't because that would mean that Sadie might just be a bit awkward.

Searching through Sadies side of the room took longer than April had thought and she completely lost track of time. The search hadn't really paid out in the way she had thought, Sadie seemed legit. She left the room and quietly closed the door behind her, too occupied to notice the person standing 6 feet away away from her.

"What the hell are you doing?!" April dropped the key she was holding, jumping at the sound of Jackson's voice startling her.

"God Jackson! You scared me half to death," April exclaimed as she took the key of the floor. "What are you doing here? Don't you have a game?"

"I forgot my lucky socks. But I could ask you the same." Jackson had worn the same socks to every game he had ever played. It didn't always mean that they won but just having them made him feel more secure and confident.

"Before you jump to conclusion," April thought Jackson would have interrupted before she would need to think about how to continue, but surprisingly he just stayed quiet, waiting for her to continue. "I did it for all of us."
