Chapter 5: Hospital visitings

"He's got a what?!" Meredith asks with a confused look.

"A fiancée who show up at the bonfire and slapped him in the face for breaking up with her apparently"

"What a douche"

"I just want to go home" Cristina says. They pay for their drinks and walk back to their dorms.

"I was starting to wonder when you were coming home" Alex says when they enter their room.

"She slept with McDreamy again" Cristina says.

"You have no self control" Alex laughs.

"I know!" Meredith replies.

The next day the group is sitting in the cafeteria and having breakfast.

"So what are you going to do about the Owen situation?" Jackson asks.

"Nothing" Cristina responses. "I'm not going to get involved".

"Aren't you already kinda involved?" Lexie asks.

"Nope" Cristina says nonchalant. "Mer we need to get to class now". Cristina and Meredith stand up and walks to class.

After class they walk through the hallway and they see Derek, Mark and Owen. Before they can react a girl walks up behind them

"You bitch!" the girl yells. They turn around and Cristina recognize her from the night before and hints to Meredith. "Who do you think you are?"

"This is all a big misunderstanding" Meredith says.

"Stay out of this" The girl says. "This is for stealing my fiancé" She says and punches Cristina right in the face.

"What the hell?" Owen says as he rushes up to Cristina.

"This is for breaking up with me in a two line email" Owens fiancée says and walks away.

"Are you okay?" Owen asks Cristina.

"Do I look okay?" She says holding her hand on her bleeding nose.

"You need to get to the hospital" Meredith says.

Meredith and Alex is sitting in the waiting room when Jackson, April, Lexie and Jo enters.

"We came as soon as we could" Jackson says. "What the hell happened?"

"Owens friancée punched her" Meredith says.

A while later Cristina comes out with bandages on her nose.

"It's a nose fracture" Cristina says.

"Are you okay?" Jo asks.

"Because of that crazy bitch I might need nose surgery!".

"At least it wasn't worse" April says.

"Let's go home" Meredith says and wraps an arm around Cristina.

When they get back to the school it's 7:30 pm. Cristina is laying in her bed holding ice over her nose. Alex and Meredith is laying in Meredith's bed playing cards when they hear a knock on the door. Alex stands up and opens the door. "No" Alex says and tries to slam the door when he sees who is on the other side of the door

"Let me just talk to her" Owen says and puts his foot to stop the door from closing. Alex is just about to object when Cristina walks up to the door.

"It's okay Alex" She says and Alex walks back to Meredith who is still sitting on her bed. "What do you want Hunt?"

"I want to explain" he says. Cristina doesn't say anything so he just continues. "When I asked you out I had already broken up with her".

"When?"

"Two weeks ago"

"Two weeks?!" Cristina exclaims. "You can't get over someone you were supposed to marry in two weeks and you don't end an engagement in a two line email".

"Please Cristina, I don't want this to ruin things for us" Owen pleads.

"Don't you get it? I have a broken nose!" Cristina says. Owen looks at her confused. "There is no us" She says and slams the door shut.

This chapter was a bit shorter and pretty much only about Crowen!
