I had heard the conversation outside and didn't want my pretty, sweet Clary to be considered crazy, as I still didn't know if she could see anything besides the runes to do with the underworld. Maybe she had to live this life forever, so she shouldn't be considered crazy. Just when the door was completely open, I had made myself visible again and was lying on her bed covered only with her blanket. The view from her roommate was worth its weight in gold and so I couldn't miss a single sentence. "Hey Clary Baby, you come back to me in bed. It's so boring here without you," I could see something like Triumph appearing on Clary's face, and she turned to her friend with a broad smile, who looked at me with envy. "Sorry Nele, you heard we still have a lot to do. I'm sorry if the night gets a little too loud," Clary said and closed the door in her face. The next moment Clary jumped onto my bed and snuggled up to me. "Apparently you're not such good friends," I said as I stroked a strand of her beautiful face. Clary smiled at me and said "I'm sorry, but a month ago she had already hitched an interesting man to me and I didn't want to lose you to her after what you just did to me," she said and added, "especially since I somehow feel like something had happened between us before. When she said that, I had to swallow, what should I tell her now. The next moment there was another knock at the door and her roommate came back without opening the door. "Excuse me Clary, but there's an Alec and an Isabelle here, they wanted to see Jace," she said. "Shit," I cursed and dressed my boxers after nodding to Clary, who had already gone to the door with a questioning look, she opened the door. In the living room my brothers and sisters stood with angry looks at me. "Hey Alec, hey Izzy," I said hesitantly, "how did you know where I was?" I asked, knowing the answer already. "Simon", Izzy said the next moment and looked, then to Alec who was still angrily sparking at me. "You should stay in your room, Jace. But as I can see you didn't just ignore an instruction, you made it even worse," he hissed at me. I knew they knew exactly what must have happened in that room, Alec could feel for sure how happy I was and since we both had almost nothing on, they had to know. "Hey Jace is no longer a little child who has to be told what to do and what not to do," my little redheaded girl whispered at my parapatai. "No idea who you are and what you want from him, one thing I can tell you", she hesitated briefly and looked at Izzy as she spoke further, as if she wanted to address this directly to Izzy "I can tell you that he is a real man". The two and Nele looked at Clary with their mouths open, so we didn't know them all. Her cheeks ran with shame as she noticed the looks. Clary had come closer to me, but stopped apruptly when she had said the last sentence, so I pulled her the last few steps to me. Nele wasn't so comfortable, so she disappeared into her room. I looked at Clary and said what she actually knew "Clary this is my brother Alec and my sister Izzy". I noticed how she relaxed around the two smiled "Oh sorry. I'm uncomfortable now," she said and added, "I'm Clary, happy to meet you anyway, even if there might be a better moment. Clary pulled me into her room and told Alec and Izzy that we would get dressed first.
