View from Izzy

As I entered the door of the institute with Magnus, Alec, Luke and our mother, Simon came rushing towards us. "How is she and why wasn't I allowed to come? She's my best friend, we're a package deal, remember?" he said so quickly that his voice almost rolled over. "Simon calm down for now," I said with a laugh, because this kind of him was very kind. "That would have been too much for her, she already has a lot to process, that's why we left her and Jace alone for now," I said and put my hand on my boyfriend's chest. "We told Clary everything today, but in a mundi version. She has to digest it now, but we hope that she will soon start to remember us and our world again," my brother said. "We will go home now. See you tomorrow," Alec said before he grabbed the hand of Magnus who had opened a portal for her shortly before. "See you tomorrow," I said to my brother and Magnus before addressing Luke, Simon and my mother. "Now I just have to find someone to take over patrolling for Jace tonight. I don't want Clary to have to do without him just tonight after all the information she got today," I said to the three. "I'm taking over his shift," Luke said immediately and turned to my mother "See you later," he said to her and said goodbye with a kiss. "Thanks Luke," I said to him before he left for the armoury. "For my little one always, you know that, Izzy," he said before he disappeared through the door. My mother hugged me and said "I'll be going, see you tomorrow," she said to me and then wanted to leave. "You're welcome to stay a bit longer, otherwise you'll be home alone even longer," I said to her, "That's sweet of you, Isabelle, but you and Simon have hardly seen each other for the last two weeks. Use the time together," she replied to me before she disappeared from the door. Together with Simon, I then went into my office and sat down on the couch. "Are you that hungry? Shall I cook something for us?", I asked him. "Izzy, you've had a long day today too, I'll get us something to eat," Simon said to me, gave me a kiss and disappeared as quickly as a vampire can nine times.

View from Jace

I saw how Clary had wrapped herself in a blanket that we took from her apartment. So wrapped up she sat on the couch and looked into the crackling fire in the fireplace. "Are you all right, Clary?", I asked her, as I walked towards her with two plates in my hand. She looked over at me and nodded. "Yes, it's just so much to process," she said and sat down so that I could sit with her. "Of course, and I'll give you all the time in the world for it that you need. But here, you must eat something," I said when I gave her one of the two plates. Clary took it from me and so we sat on my couch and had a snack first. After we both ate up, I put the plates into the dishwasher and was just about to go back to Clary when two tender arms wrapped around my waist. "I was just about to come back to you and ask you if you want to do something else," I said to my girlfriend. She released me again and so I could turn to her. Clary smiled at me and said "I had thought about something like dessert. If you know what I mean". She stroked with her hands from my belly over my chest up to my neck. Just as I was about to say something back, she pulled my head towards her to kiss me. Of course, I immediately returned her kiss and put my arms around her waist. We exchanged passionate kisses for a few minutes until I noticed that she wanted to go further. So I broke away from her and said "Clary as much as I would like to, maybe we shouldn't do it today. I want us both to enjoy it and not that it is only something like a distraction for you", I told her with a loving look.
