A few months had passed and I could remember everything again. My mother and Jace Grandmother Imogen had managed to convince Raziel to give me back my life as a Shadowhunter. Only the possibility to create new runes they kept depriving me of, but I didn't care. It was only important for me to be able to remember everything and to have my family, friends and great love back. Also the work was fun again. I could pursue my art again only as a hobby, but that was secondary for me. Luke and Maryse had decided to get married and this is exactly the wedding we were at. The ceremony had been wonderful, because Maryse herself was no longer a Shadowhunter, the wedding was a little mixed. Instead of applying the runes, the two of them exchanged rings. Both wore rings, but the colors, which is worn by Shadowhunters at the wedding. Maryse and Luke were dancing the opening dance and I was admiring the beautiful golden dress Maryse was wearing when Jace whispered in my ear. "I'm sure a dress in gold would look very nice on you," he said, and I looked at him with my mouth open. Jace smiled at me with his mischievous smile and whirled me around in circles once, just as he had done at the wedding of Alec and Magnus. The two of them had adopted a child in the meantime and took really loving care of little Raphael. Jace was amazingly loving and enthusiastic about little Raphael, who was always with Jace and me in the apartment when Alec and Magnus had things to do. Izzy always complained when the little one came to us, because she had also taken the little one deep into her heart and would have loved to take care of him. But somehow Jace was so obsessed with little Raphael that we always had him with us. Jace and I danced together as he whispered in my ear "You're not going to leave this time and not coming back". I laughed a little and looked my friend deep into his eyes. "No, I won't. I promise," I breathed to him and danced on. I could make him that promise, for he would not get rid of me so easily, for I had been carrying a little secret around with me for weeks. I knew exactly that he would be happy about it and so I decided to let my surprise burst now. I breathed into his ear "I promise you this not only in my name" and immediately Jace stopped dancing and looked at me with big eyes. "You're pregnant?" he asked me and I nodded at him with a big smile. Jace beamed at me and once twirled me around in the air before kissing me passionately. "I love you Clary. I love you," he breathed to me after our kiss and started dancing with me again. "I love you too, Jace. We love you, too," I said.
