A demon attack

View from Jace

When I looked at my cell phone, I could already see that it was Clary who called me and that made me immediately happy. She seemed so disappointed earlier and I thought that this would be the end of us, that she would not contact me anymore, but apparently I was wrong. But when I accepted the call I only heard her say: 'Please come to me quickly, I need you, I am not feeling well' and then there was no sound from her. I tried to call her name a few times over the telephone that she should speak to me, but there was no reaction. My mind started to wander and I was very worried about my little redheaded friend. I grabbed my seraph blade and rushed to the door when my mother Maryse called out "Jace what's wrong? Where are you going?". I turned to my family and friends and said with tears in my eyes "Something's up with Clary. She told me to come, she's not well and then she didn't react. I must go to her, to her apartment. What if something bad has happened?" I shouted to them before I turned around and opened my apartment door. "Izzy and I are going with Jace. She already knows us and you're staying here. We'll call you as soon as we know what's going on with her," said Alec, then to the rest of the group who had already jumped up. So the three of us headed for Clarys flat with our weapons at the ready. When we arrived at the door we tried to call attention to ourselves by knocking and ringing the doorbell as she had a roommate who could be there. When there was no reaction after one minute, the three of us agreed over a simple eye contact that we should now use a rune to get to Clary. When the door opened in front of us, we immediately felt that something was not right here. Alec already had his bow in his hand and Izzy her whip. Carefully we made our way into the apartment and to Clary's room. When I opened her room door, I saw her lying motionless in her bed with a wound on her arm. Just as I was about to rush to her, I heard a creature howling behind us. I quickly turned around with my seraph blade in my hand and saw my brothers and sisters standing in front of the door, ready to fight. "You take care of Clary Jace. Alec and I will take care of the demon here," Izzy screamed over her shoulder. Immediately I dropped my gun and ran to my unconscious friend. "Shoot", I cursed when I realized that the wound on her arm must have come from the demon. Without thinking, I dialled Magnus' mobile phone number and immediately started talking when he picked up the phone a second later. "Magnus, Clary was bitten by a demon and is unconscious, but I can't just draw a rune, we don't know how she will react to it. What do you want me to do? I don't want to lose her, please help me," I called through my cell phone. I only heard him say "I'll be right there" and seconds later a portal opened in her room. Alec and Izzy had vanquished the demon and now looked worriedly at the unconscious Clary as well. Magnus stepped through the portal and immediately started to cast some spell. All things that belonged to Clary disappeared from the apartment, nothing reminded of the young woman who lived here. "We'll take her with us to Jace's apartment first, then we'll talk further," he said and disappeared through the portal together with my siblings. I took Clary out of her bed and this one disappeared as well. Soon I stepped through the portal with the love of my life and the next moment I saw only the worried looks of our family and friends. When the portal closed behind us, I immediately ran into my bedroom and put Clary on the bed. I sat with her on the bed and took her little hand in mine. "What is your great plan Magnus now? If we don't do something right now, she'll die," I said angrily in the direction of Magnus, who just came into the room with the others.
