It felt like a Déjà-vu when the little redheaded woman ran into me and mumbled an apology to me. Before I could say anything back, she was gone again and I changed my real direction. Since I had no witchcraft for a while, I liked to walk to different places from time to time, because I had to find out that there are some interesting places you wouldn't see when portaling. I just had to go to Jace and look for him, not because I liked him, no because I knew that my husband Alec would not bear to see his brother and parapatai suffering. My thoughts always revolved around Alec if something happened to Jace, because I had to watch how desperately Alec tried to catch Jace after the loss of memory of Clary. Until just now I thought I could stop thinking about making my Shadowhunter as far as Jace is concerned, because at least Clary recognizes him, but I was too early. When I arrived in front of the apartment that once belonged to Luke and now had got Jace for himself and Clary, the door was already being ripped open. In front of me stood the blond Shadowhunter, with the two different eye colours. In the first moment he had a broad smile on his face, but when he recognized me it disappeared again. "Magnus, what are you doing here?", he asked and went back into the apartment. "Nice greeting Jace, it's nice to see you too," I said to him and was about to say something again when he started talking again. "I heard footsteps in the hall and thought it was Clary. You haven't seen her by any chance, have you?" Jace asked with a hopeful look. "What happened to Jace? Yes I saw her, she literally ran into me when I was on my way to the meeting with Katarina," I said and waited for his answer. Jace sat down on the couch and put his face in his hands. "She wanted to know why we broke up the last time, but I couldn't tell her that she had suffered a memory loss because she upset the angels and we didn't break up because of that, but she just couldn't remember," said Jace and looked at me, then before he continued, "I told her that it was complicated, but unfortunately I can't tell her why yet and that we never stopped loving each other. Then she got angry and said she wanted to know the truth, that I should talk to her openly. But unfortunately I can't, she mustn't know anything about the underworld and then she ran away. I felt somehow sorry for Jace and I knew we had to come up with something to help Jace and Clary. So I wrote a quick fire message to Alec and a few minutes later I opened a portal to the institute. Not a minute later Izzy, Simon, Luke, Maryse and Alec entered Jace's flat through the portal. All of them already knew what had happened through my message and hugged Jace. Finally Alec hugged him for a long time and said to him "We will find a solution. I promise you we will come up with a good excuse." After the two parapatai had come out of the hug we sat down together and thought about what Jace Clary could say. We discussed many options and finally agreed on one version, as she will remember us little by little.
