(Shoto's POV)
As the sun began falling from its zenith painting the sky orange, the students of the U.A. we're mostly done with their classes for the day. Since it was especially a Friday, a few were hurrying back to their dorms for a weekly opportunity to go back home.

This case was true for both Shoto and Izuku after the string of events that happened to them both were more than relieved to finally have the opportunity to meet their families. They had a lot to tell obviously but it seemed that both boys were ready to set things straight.

"Izuku, I have something to tell you." Shoto had pulled out Izuku to the side when they got to the dorms.

Izuku seemed surprised as he said, "Good timing. I also had something to tell you too, Shoto."

"I wanted to come clean to my family about us, I was hoping you wanted to do the same," Shoto admitted.

"That was what I wanted to say too, " Izuku responded, "I want to tell my mom personally that we're dating."

Shoto nodded and felt glad to Izuku's response, "Okay. Then I guess you're telling her this weekend?"

"Of course. Shoto, will you be okay though?" Izuku looked at him with concern.

"Yeah, I plan on telling Fuyumi first, then my mother, then my brothers, and finally Endeavor." the final words left Shoto's mouth with increasing intensity.

"Don't worry though. I am prepared to tell him off if he disagrees." Shoto quickly added.

Izuku could only chuckle at Shoto's frankness and they both snickered and laughed. That ended their discussion. Both boys said their goodbyes and went back to their rooms to start preparing for their homecoming.

It was already sundown and the sky was beginning to darken and be filled with stars by the time Shoto arrived at their family home, he went inside and called out.

"Fuyumi, I'm home" he shouted out loud to be heard.

Rushing in was her sister with her white-hair and red highlights.

"Shoto, I missed you so much. You were barely home at all. You're really back to normal aren't you?" Fuyumi started doting on Shoto as she helped him with his coat and bag.

"Yes, I am completely fine now. What's for dinner anyway?" Shoto asked as his stomach grumbled?

"I made seafood soup and vegetable sides for tonight. We should head over to the kitchen to eat and catch up."

Shoto agreed to this and headed for the kitchen. The siblings sat on the table, Fuyumi served a seafood-based soup with poached lobster paired with rice and then her vegetable sides was a salad made of pickled legumes with tomatoes. Shoto couldn't help but dig in already.

"Tell me Shoto, are you okay now? What about your friend, is he also doing well?" Fuyumi took the initiative to start the conversation because Shoto was busy eating.

Shoto momentarily stopped chewing, "Yes. I'm glad that we're back to our real bodies, you may have heard of the incident but we're mostly okay, we only suffered minor injuries."

Shoto began retelling the story, the anger, the sadness, and all the emotion he felt during those moments as he got through everything with Izuku.

"I see. Takashi Tenko, he must have been a great guy. I am glad that you and Izuku are okay." Fuyumi gently stroked Shoto's hair.

"Actually, I have something more to say. About Izuku, I wanted to tell you that we're dating." Shoto dropped the truth bomb.

(Third Person POV)
"So what did you like about Izuku? He must have been something." Fuyumi pondered as she went back to her seat.

"You seem to be taking this well," Shoto commented as his face seemed to relax

Fuyumi nodded, "I am mostly glad that you finally feel like you like someone, so what do you like about him?"

"Well... I thought of him first as a rival. A person who was an obstacle to my goal."

"He made me open my eyes that I am my own person, that my quirk was my own. He basically pulled me out of my father's looming shadow"

"He's kind, studious, and easy to get along with. He also saved my life a few times and we have fought side by side many times. He has this something that makes me feel secure like everything will be fine." Shoto's face had transitioned, his sharp gaze was into daydream stare, the mouth of the end had been quirking upward into a smile, and his usual cold self described the person with utmost warmth and care.

Fuyumi wiped her eyes, "Shoto, that is so romantic? Have you said this thing to him?"

Shoto froze, "I guess... I haven't, I told him I liked him but I never told him just how much."

"Well, as his lover maybe you'll tell him sometime soon. Okay?" Fuyumi advised as she smiled and began picking up the used plates and utensils.

Shoto nodded, he sighed in relief and felt glad for his understanding sister.

As soon as the sibling's discussion was over a loud voice was heard throughout the entire house, "Fuyumi, I'm home!'"

Endeavor entered the kitchen, "Oh Shoto you're here. I actually meant to give you something."

He took something from his pocket and put it on the table. It was an all-purpose gift certificate.

"The Police Headquarters, especially Inspector Tsukauchi wanted to compensate you and your friend. I didn't feel it was necessary but your Principal said so otherwise." Endeavor stated with no hint of anger or condescension.

"Fuyumi, I'm skipping dinner tonight. Shoto, make sure that you don't fall behind your studies. I won't meddle in your personal affairs as long as you strive to surpass me." Endeavor said as he walked out, his voice hinting ignorance.

(Izuku's POV)
Izuku was eating dinner with his mom, he recounted to her the story of the incident along dinner. At some point in the recollection, his mother started tearing up.

"Izuku, you were so brave. I can't believe you went through all of that, I am so proud of you." She cried as she hugged her son.

"Mom, you remember Todoroki right?" Izuku suddenly said as he embraced his mother.

"When confessed to me back then we mostly thought of giving dating a try but I have always admired him from way back and over the past months, we've grown exceptionally closer. I also accepted him as my boyfriend, I wish that's okay with you and hope you continue rooting for us."

Izuku finally told his mother that he was currently dating Shoto. He felt scared and anxious all this time but unlike when his mother cried at his earlier story, she only gave him a warm smile and embraced him once more.

Inko hugged his with gentleness, sharing her warmth, kindness, and understanding as she said, "Oh Izuku, I'm happy for you. It doesn't matter what gender the person is, as long as you are happy and you love each other, then I am okay with it."

Izuku teared up as well. He was glad that his mother was accepting. He was happy he was home right now. He was happy that he likes Shoto.
