Chapter 20

EPOV

By the time I woke up again I still had her in my arms, again I was hit with the feeling that this was right, she was meant to be here. I pulled her closer to put my head in her neck and inhaled her scent, strawberries and freesia. I wanted to breath in that smell forever, I don't think I could ever get sick of it.

As I lay there I thought back on what I shared with her last night, well this morning. I'm not sure what made me tell her the whole fucking story but once I started talking I couldn't seem to stop as the words tumbled from my lips, which was fucking odd since I've never muttered a word of it to anyone, It was like I had no control over what came out my mouth.

I knew she was struggling, maybe that's why. When I woke up to her screaming my name, I jumped about a foot in the air ready to grab my nine to shoot any fucker that dare lay a hand on her, when I saw her frashing about on the bed, I made my way over to her to see her whole body was shaking, she had tears running down her cheeks, it sounded like she was gonna start sobbing at any moment, I fucking hated seeing her look like that. When she finally snapped her eyes open, the fear I saw nearly brought me to my knee's then she grabbed me and held on for dear life. I just wanted her to know That I knew what she was going through, that she could talk to me if she wanted too. I got the feeling she wouldn't, she was like me she would force herself to suffer in silence.

I looked at the window over the far side of the room and noticed the sun was trying to shine through the shades and decided to go down stairs and make a coffee and some toast for me and Bella...shit does she even like coffee?...fuck it I'll make tea too I can't go wrong.

I managed to pull myself from her grip and watched as she rolled over onto her stomach and snuggled into the pillow I was using and let out a little moan, fuck I want to get in. I let out a moan in frustration and slipped into my clothes rather fast as I got a chill from the cold air hitting my skin, that's the worst fucking thing about getting out of bed, almost freezing to death, I don't why people haven't heard of heating in the mornings.

I grabbed my phone from my pocket and noticed it was 10am...wow talk about getting a decant amount of sleep, If she's good for nothing else, she's the best fucking bed warmer going. I walked out the room and closed it softly behind me so I didn't wake her. Just as I got to the bottom of the stairs I heard my pop's talking to someone and decided to listen...no I wasn't sneaking, I was just being quite so I could hear.

"You should have seen him Es, He was like a fucking animal possessed while Emmett was trying to hold him back, then she walks right up to him and cracks him straight in the fucking jaw " Pop's let out the loudest laugh I think I've ever heard from him...yeah he likes her.

"And he did nothing?, I mean that's not like him" My ma said.

"Na he just went stock still with a look of disbelief on his face and asked her why" pop's was trying to get it out without laughing I could hear it though "She went on about kissing her and walking away" He finished.

I made my way into the kitchen to see them both snickering to themselves and said "Laugh it up old man, at least she didn't call me old" I didn't bother to hide my smirk. I made my way over and tossed some bread in the 4 sliced stainless steel toaster and then grabbed some cups, I looked up at my pop's to see a shocked look on his face, and saw my Ma putting her hand over her mouth to hide her laughter.

"She called me fucking old?" He finally shouted. I lost my shit and doubled over with laughter, I had to hold onto the counter top to hold myself up.

"That's why I was laughing so hard yesterday, after you told us to settle down she said, and I quote" I said with a smirk and made sure I had his attention " Who the fuck is the old dude" I said and laughed all over again at the look on his face but this time my Ma joined in.
