Chapter 39

BPOV

As we were walking towards the basement Edward said Jessica was in, I wasn't sure what I was gonna see,.I know he said she was tied to the wall sitting in her own piss and shit, but that didn't really tell me what I was walking into to.

When he pulled me to the end of the dark and creepy hallway, I thought we'd come to a dead-end and wondered what the hell he was doing until he started fiddling with shit...then I heard a click echo somewhere in front of us. When he pulled the door open, I just sorta looked on shocked..how very fucking Bat man of him. Secret fucking doorways and shit...this was mad, I wanted to laugh, it was completely absurd. But I suppose if you didn't know what your were looking for you'd never find it...I assume that's what he was going for.

I was sorta freaked out when he pulled me through the door and closed it behind me, we were in cased in total darkness. I couldn't see anything in front of me so I held tight to Edwards hand as he led me down the stone stairs, I could hear the small heel of my boots click every step we took..it was like something out of a fucking horror movie.

When we turned the corner...they must have been like a swirling fucking staircase or something, I let out a small sigh as I saw a light at the bottom.

Finally reaching the bottom I took a look around… if there was one word I could use to describe what I was seeing...yeah it would be Disgusting.

The whole room looked like it was made from concrete, it was no bigger than 2 cells sat side by side, not big at all. There was a steel door to the left, and another that sat next to it, I assume there was a boiler down here somewhere because I could hear a rumbling beyond one of the doors, not to mention it was fucking hot as hell which only made the smell ten times worse. It fucking stunk..I wanted to heave and hold my nose, I wished I hadn't eaten before we left this morning, I was sure it was gonna come back up.

Looking at the boys sat playing cards, I wanted to laugh..because they looked so normal, just like a bunch of guys hanging out and having a good time, you'd never know that there was a girl chained to the wall in the next room.

When Edward made his presence known, I watched as they all jumped in their seats and sat up straight. It was quite funny that Edward had such control over these guys, I know most of it was controlled by the fear that he installed in them. It was definitely something I liked to see, he looked powerful standing there demanding respect, even with the smirk playing on his lips. I could see what he meant now by making him look weak in front of his men..they wouldn't listen to him...I get it now.

I mentioned the smell, cos the fucking stench hitting me was..I can't even describe what it smelt like, I'd never come across something or someone smelling as bad as what I was at that moment. When Edward said it was gonna get worse when we were in the room with her, I didn't think I was gonna manage it, because I was struggling as it was. Death...it smelt like I'd imagine death to smell like..it was fucking nasty, that's why I asked him if we could bring her out instead of us going in.

When Edward asked, and when I say "asked" I mean he just gave them a look and they knew exactly what he wanted them to do.

As the door opened, I doubled over...oh my god, my fucking stomach was churning, I was gagging..I could feel the food I ate trying to make it's way back up. And as soon as I thought I had it under control I'd breath in and start all over again, the smell of urine was strongest smell of all. Then when the door was open fully I was nearly knocked over by the force of the smell that hit me. How they could all stand here like they were smelling fucking roses was fucking mad, I could feel my eyes burning from the stench.

I was so glad Edward sent Mario, I think thats his name was up to get something to cover my mouth...the other part of me felt weak...I couldn't stand the smell, while they all stood there like nothing was wrong. I was hoping they were all like this the first time they smelt something like this too.
