My phone buzzes.

I rub my eyes and look at the clock.

1:45

Thank God it's Saturday!

I really overslept.

I check my phone and see a text from Nash.

From: Trashy Nashy

Lake Day? Hayes and Skylynn will be there with my mom too :^) Bring Candice.... well.. if she wants to come....

I grin and reply

What time? :^) and she doesn't have a choice, we need #Cash back!! :'(

I jump out of bed and start brushing my hair.

Dang, I look like a zombie crossed with Amanda Bynes.

I take my braids out and pull my hair into a ponytail.

I get a text saying in about fifteen minutes.

"Shoooot" I say, running to my closet and throwing every bathing suit out on the floor.

Wait, I need to tell Candice.

That would be smart

I run into her room and she is on her floor, playing jetpack joyride on her phone.

I roll my eyes.

"Get changed. We're going to the Lake with the Grier's." I say, taking her phone away from her.

She folds her arms and pouts.

"I was about to beat my high score" she says, staring me down.

"Get a life" I say, laughing.

"Oh, yeah, I'll just go buy one" she says, throwing her hands up in surrender.

I shake my head and walk out of her room.

I change into a pink bikini, and matching Adidas slides.

I'm not a fan of makeup, but I put on waterproof mascara.

Candice comes out in a oversized Beatles sweatshirt.

"Um, Lake?" I say, examining her look.

"I'm not going in" she pouts.

Well, she doesn't have a choice about that.

"At least put on shorts and a shirt that is summer-ish"

She moans and trudges back into her room.

Minutes later, she wears a neon pink shirt and nike shorts.

I roll my eyes, and we walk down the stairs.

I see my mom and dad watching the history channel.

"Have fun, Elizabeth already called me" she says, without taking her eyes off the tv.

I nod slowly and we walk out the door.

History must be fun to them

(Yes, I am wearing a coverup.)

When we get to the Grier's, Elizabeth opens the door and offers us a hug.

"Hi ladies!" She exclaims and kisses our foreheads.

"Hey!" we both say

"The boys are upstairs, Skylynn is-" she's stopped by Skylynn running into my arms.

"Jamieo" she calls me.

"Hey there, missy" I say, twirling her around.

She jumps down and gives Candice a hug also.

"I'll go see what the boys are doing" I say, turning to the stairs.

I walk into Nash's room, to see him on his phone.

"Hey, Mr Trashy Nashy" I say, jumping on top of him.

"Hey," he says picking me up.

He carries me into Hayes's room, but stops in his tracks.

Hayes isn't alone.
