"Are we intruding?" Nash says, letting me off his back.
"N-no" Hayes says, moving away from the girl.
I recognized her as Ashley.
"Oh" I say, looking at the ground.
"You got back together."
He nods, and gives us a quick smile.
Ashley gives me a grin, but I turn away.
I've never really liked her for some reason.
Bad vibes

The car ride was quiet, Candice and Nash weren't really hitting it off.
I sat next to Hayes, who was next to Ashley.
He rested his head on her shoulder, while she held his hand.
I guess I'm the third wheel today.
Snap out of it, it's not a big deal.
I shake the thought out of my mind and look out the window.

"Yay Lake!" Sky screams as she jumps out of the car.
I pick her up and swing her in my arms.
"I like you way more than Ashley, Jamieo" she says, whispering in my ear.
I give her a peck on the cheek and let her down.
"Jet Skis!" Nash screams.
Elizabeth says to partner in two's, so everyone grabs a partner.
"Nas-" I try to say, but Candice drags him by the ear to the jet ski.
Well, plan B.
I walk over to Sky, but she jumps into her mothers arms.
I sigh and look over to Hayes.
"Hey Haye-" I grab my mouth and shut it.
No point.
Everyone got on there jet skis and I stood on the dock.
"Honey you can ride with us if you wan-" I cut Elizabeth off.
"It's okay, really. I have to go to the bathroom anyway. Don't worry about me" I say, holding back tears.
Elizabeth gives me an unsure look but I give her a smile.
Before I walk off to the bathroom, I glance at Hayes.
I stare into those icy blue eyes for what seems like forever.
Then I turn away, to the bathroom.
I close the door and put my back to it.
I slide down to the ground, tears stinging at my eyes.
She's just a girl.
She won't get in the way of your friendship.
I think she already has.
