Dress shopping

A week later, 

Karkat and dave had been invited to kanaya and roses wedding And they needded to go suit shopping. they had already visited 3 stores today. 

"But why do i have to wear a suit?? its really itchy and its annoying, how come The girl trolls and females dont have to wear them?" Karkat scowled as Him and dave walked through the shopping centre, hand in hand. "Because they where dresses. its 'Normal' for girls to wear them And for boys to wear suits. but if you dont want to wear a suit, im sure No one would care." Dave smiled as they Went into the elevator. 

"Dave..Can i try on a..'dress'??" karakt asked nervously looking down. "'course karks! come on. theres a fancy dress shop up here." Both boys exited the elevator And entered said shop. "Hello there boys, what brings you here today>" Karkat jumped up and down excitedly as dave took some money out his wallet. "Hey. could my friend try on some dresses?" Theres was a small silence, until the women behind the counter spoke. "Sorry..He wants to try on Some..... dresses?" The womens face showed great disgust. "Yeah, you got a problem?" Dave raised an eyebrow showing a more defensive side of himself.

"Um yes,wouldnt he be more comfortable in a suit of some sort..?" dave let go of  karkats hand and lead him infront of himself by holding onto his shoulders. "Youre going to let my Boyfriend try on some dresses or i WILL Sue you.." dave growled. karkat had a sort of very worried and distraught look on his face as he lighty shook underneath daves hold. 

"Uh..alright then..dresses and changing rooms are over there.." The women that had been very quite polite a few minutes ago was now gathering her things and walking into the back room looking as if she was going to puke. Karkat turned around to look up at his boyfriend, he said with a shaky voice- "w..why wasnt i allowed to wear a dress..?" dave sighed and lead karkat over to the dresses and changing rooms. "Hey. dont worry about it. go choose a dress and try it on. karkat nodded, following daves request. 

A moment later karkat came out, he was wearing a light blue knee length dress with white lacing across the collar and hem.  "I really like it dave" Karkat grinend twirling around. dave got up from the sofa and hugged karkat. "You look so freaking adorable. cmon, we'll buy it and we can go get pizza. i dunno about you but im bloody starving after all that carry on." Dave rolled his eyes, karkat got changed and they left about £100 on the desk, hoping itd cover it and leaving to get pizza.
