Dave was lying on his bed, it was pitch dark in the room and the only light was the little illumination from his phone that he had hovered above his face while his other arm propped his head up a bit.

He was just scrolling past his social medias when he heard the door slam open and a very small and angry troll stampered in.

"Yo..karkles..whats wrong with you..?" Dave whispered, laying the phone on his chest,  karkat just stayed silent and closed the door,stampering over to the bed and crawling onto it, lying beside dave and laying his head on daves fore arm. Dave sighed and pulled karkat closer, turning the phone of for a sec.

"Now come on, tell davey why little karkitty is so upset, hm?" He whispered more and karkat frowned, rolling over to face  Dave even though it was pitch black and he couldnt see.

"Bad dream." He muttered, dave chuckled and pat his head. "Dont worry karkat..we all get bad dreams sometimes..how about you sleep in my bed tonight?" He said to him and karkst nodded. "Thank you.." he whispered. Dave grinned "no problem kitty," he switched his phone back on and held karkat close while Scrolling down on his timeline.

Karkat  just hummrd slightly and put his arm around daves waist. "Dont worry, ill put mg phone away and you can sleep in a sec." He kissed his head and finished his scrolling, turning the phone off and putting it to his side. "Night night." He said, karkat cuddled  close "night dave-"  and with that, both boys fell asleep together.
