"Dave. its too tight- tie it again" Karkat demanded, squirming.

"Damn karkles, this is the 3rd time ive retied youre shoe, Just do it yourself." dave snapped untying the lace and standing up, karkat sighed and pulled dave down, and whispered in his ear.

"I..i cant tie my shoes.." karkat blushed and then let go of dave. "Aaaaaw karkles-- you shoud of just said that..sorry for snappen'-" Dave kissed karkats nose before tying the lace again. Karkats face was bright red. "uhhh dave?!" He stuttered out hiding his face. "yeah karkat?" Dave replied putting his jacket on and tossing karkat his one. 

"that...uhhh what was that?" 

"It was a kiss on the nose? Im apologising for what i said. see i thought you where just being lazy, ill teach you how to tie it, allright???" dave said comfortingly. "but..later..im hungry for ice cream, cmon" dave winked and grabbed karkats hand as they left to get icecream.

Karkat sat on the bench. dave sat his stuff down next to karkat "Ill go get the icecream" He said and stood up straight as he walked away to an icecream truck "VANILLA PLEASE DAVEE" Karkat yelled after him. "I know karklesss" He replied distantly. Karkat lay on the bench knocking daves stuff onto the grass. He sighed heavily. "Hey karkat" Karkat turned around quickly, he looked up at his brother and his brothers matesprite. "Hey kan..Hey cronus" Karkat used his hand to block the sun outta his eye.

" Hows it hanging chief?" cronus said to karkat. "Ehh..ok..daves getting me icecream. im waiting for him here." Karkat said squirming a bit. "Hmm..May I ask why the human is being so kind to you on this day?" Kankri asked. 

"Well..Yesterday dave came round at night and we where GONNA watch a movie, but we ended up laying there together, and I got 'Extra cuddle time' as I call it, Because I didn't make him watch a romcom, so he gave me cuddles and is getting me icecream right now" Kankri awed leaning into cronus. "Awwwe, isn't that sweet?" Kankri smiled. "My little brother is all grown up" Kankri patted karkats head. "Ok we better bounce kan, nice seein ya karkat. bye" cronus said dragging kankri away. "Bye.." karkat waved them off and stared at the sky.

"Guess whos back" A voice came as two cold objects came in contact with karkats cheeks. "AHHH THATS DAMN COLD- ? STRIDER?!" karkat bolted up to see dave bent down beside him. "I Gots the icecream , now scooch so I can sit" Dave moved karkats legs and sat on the bench.

"Plain vanilla, as you always like it" Dave smiled, handing karkat his icream, he took a lick of his own chocolate oreo icecream and glanced at karkat. "is it good?" He asked trying to start up a conversation. "Yeah. thanks strider" Karkat hapilly licked his icecream, he leaned against dave in the process. 

"Tired much?" dave laughed snaking an arm around karkats shoulders. "yeah..a bit." karkat put his icecream in the bin, half done and lay down with his head on daves lap. "to tired to finish it..." He grumbled as he squirmed some more. "Are you alright karkat? you always seem to squirm a lot lately.." Dave put a hand on karkat forehead. "You seem fine..i think..dude im not a doctor." Dave took one last lick of his icecream before yeeting it in the bin.

"Carry me to the swings, pleaaase" karkat pleaded putting his arms in the air randomly. "Ah..fine.." Dave picked karkat up holding onto him tightly. he picked his bag and jacket up and walked over to the small playpark. "You want me to put you down on the swings?" Dave asked approaching them. "Yeah..please" Dave nodded and set him down carefully. Dave turned to sit on the swing next to karkat but turned out some little kid stole it before he could. "Hey kid can you move? I want him to sit next to me"
