Blind karkat! x dave

It was a chilly autumn morning
As two friends made their ways down to the eye doctors.
The two friends where also knows as dave strider and karkat vantas.
The one going by karkat Vantas was infact, blind as fuck.
They had been walking in uncharectorisized silence untill dave spoke up.
"So uhm..you excited?" Dave said. He didnt know why but he was justs so antsy. Maybe it was because this was the first time karkat would officially  see him. Karkat linked one arm around daves arm as they walked.
"Im excited..but..well, what if they mess up and i die or something..?!" Karkat said as his breathing quickened.
Dave chuckled he didnt mean for it to slip out but it just did. He wasnt the best at comforting people.
"Dont worry dude. They do surgery on people every day. And im sure that its like, pretty rare to die during surgery" dave said as he tried his best to comfort him whilst still maintaining his coolkid facade."Ok then..im trusting what you say. So if i die. Ill haunt you forever." Karkat teased as he lifted one of his hands and hissed at dave As he began laughing.
"Shit man if you do that im gonna have to sick the ghostbusters on your ass" dave laughed.
"itll be solemn as fuck but itd have to be done i cant have any conniving ghosts fucking with me 24/7"

He went on the small tangent, a small smile on his face. The thought of Karkat dying wasn't a nice thought, so he decided to push it out of his mind.Karkat giggled as Stopped at a road. "Is it across here?" He said as they crossed.Dave lifted his hand above his eyes to block the early-morning sun, which was a bit pointless because his shades basically did that for him. He sorta did that out of habit.

"yeah actually
howd you know-"

It did happen to be across the street. Huh. Lucky guess?

"I dunno...i just heard cars. So i guessed we where at a road. So i wanted to know if it was across this road."
"Well it is infact" Dave said as he held karkat hand tight.
"Ok...we can cross now." Dave kept his grip on karkats hand as he raised his other hand to thank the drivers for stopping. He hurried across the road with karkat and opened the eye doctors door.
"Ok you sit  down here" dave Helped karkat sit down.
"Im going to go check you in" dave began walking to the desk and checked karkat in. Around 30 minutes later the eye doctor was ready for karkat.
"This is it.." karkat murmured grinning. Dave nodded and held his hand as they walked and followed the eye doctor.
