Train journey

Dave hoisted his bag up onto his shoulder, Karkat stood beside him with his earphones in and his phone in his hand. Dave yanked the earphones out of karkats ear. "Karkles!- I told you not to have youre earphones in when were Here!" Dave was quite nervous about travelling with karkat- you see, the small troll was known for getting lost and not paying attention.

Karkat sighed and stared at dave with a bland look. "Strider..Seriously. Im fine. I wont get lost. Look- theres our train!" Karkat let out another sigh and grabbed his bag following dave onto the train. they sat down next to eachother and karkat began skimming through his playlist again. he picked his ears buds up and hovered them infront of his ear cocking his eyebrow while looking at dave, asking for permission to listen to music again. "Go on then.. but take them out as soon as I say" he pointed a finger momentarily before sitting back and taking his phone out to check Instagram or something.

-1 hours later-

"Now approaching SburbsTreEt" The train came to a hault Dave stood up and took his bag, he stood next to karkat In the isle who was taking his earbuds out. dave put his hand out. "Hey karks,time to go. I want you to hold my hand so you don't get lost." Karkat scrunched his face up and shook his head. "No." Dave glared at karkat. "Yes, karkat. were going to miss our stop, just hold my damn hand!"

"Doors closing"

"Nope" Karkat folded his arms and looked away.

"KARKAT! NOW WEVE MISSED OUR STOP!" dave yelled at karkat. karkat held his hands up infront of himself, he looked as if he was about to cry. "S-sorry dave..." He stuttered holding his breathe. daves eyes softened and he sat back down next to karkat this time. he opened his mouth to say something but couldn't he put his arm around karkat and put his head on karkats shoulder. "Sorry karks..I- I didn't mean to shout.." Dave adjusted his shades and kissed karkats cheek.karkat sat closer to dave and began crying. "DAVE IM SO SORRY. DONT BE MAD AT ME SERIOUSLY IM SO SORRY" He wailed leaning forwards, struggling for breathe. "Karkles.karkles..KARKLES CALM DOWN" Dave put a hand on his back and rubbed it as he held karkat towards him. it took karkat 10 minutes to calm down, he took deep breathes as he leaned on dave, dave stroked karkats hair and kissed his cheek.

"Karkles listen..i know you don't like showing affection to me in public..and I get it, youre shy, its alright..but you need to learn to listen to me, we have to sit on the train for another 2 hours now..just promise me that when we do get to our stop again..you'll hold my hand.. please..?" daveput his hand ontop of karkats waiting for a response.

"Uhh yeah..sure ok...Im sorry..." karkat smiled before reaching up and softly kissing daves lips. dave grinned.

--2 hours later--

Dave poked karkat, he had been asleep in the taller humans lap "time to goo," dave hel his hand out, waiting for karkat to hold it.

the troll sat up and rubbed his eyes. he quickly got his bag and stood up waiting for dave. dave stood up and held karkats hand tightly, they made their way off the train. "see karkles, not that hard." He grinned and kissed his head as they walked off to their hotel.
