First POVVictor Frankenstein, the man that gave my sister and I the life that we had wanted once again. The kindhearted man that had confessed to me while I was in my deep slumber. I wanted him to know that he was more than what he had thought of himself.
I turned to see Fran standing there with a blush on his face. I smiled as I began to walk towards him, Fran looking to the ground in embarrassment before turning back to me.
"You know, I heard what you said while I was asleep," I told him while smiling.
Fran looked up immediately as he cheeks turned even more vibrant. I giggled a little bit at his reaction. After a few seconds, I put my hands onto Fran cheeks, getting him to look at me.
"And I feel the same way that you do, Fran," I confessed to him.
At first, Fran was a little taken back by my actions. But, he soon did the same, placing his hands on my cheeks as well.
"Then, let me say it properly this time, since you're now awake and alive. I love you with all my heart, (Y/N)-"
He was cut off with my lips being on his. I placed my hands on his shoulders as I felt him kiss back, his hands on my waist. I pulled away, blushing slightly as I made eye contact with him.
"I love you too, Fran. And I always will," I smiled.
And soon, I was pulled into a loving embrace by the alchemist. This felt nice, the best feeling in the world. We stayed like that for a few minutes before pulling apart a little bit. We leaned our foreheads together as Fran asked me something.
"Since the day's only started, do you want to explore the town a little bit?" He asked me.
I smiled and nodded, and hand in hand, we made our way to the automobile, starting our day in the city of London. We went to different shops, looking at the little items that were in the shops, and then grabbing some lunch.
After all of that, Fran and I, with our fingers intertwined, walked through the town, just sightseeing at this point. It was only when I heard the chiming of bells that made me stop in my tracks.
I looked over to see where the source of the noise was coming from, and caught sight of a crowd gathering around a church.
"Looks like someone's wedding is today," I heard Fran say from beside me.
I continued to stare at the crowd, finally catching sight of the bride and groom walking out of the building, doves flying over head. I guess I never really knew what went into marriages. And Fran seemed to have caught onto my curiosity.
"Here, come with me," he said as we began walking away from this church in particular.
After a few minutes, I saw another church just ahead of us. Except this one had nobody around it, or inside. I didn't really know why Fran had brought me here, but, still hand in hand, we made our way into the building, and the sight took my breath away.
It was absolutely beautiful. There were rows of seats, and in the front, there was a beautiful stain glass window that looked like it could've been made of jewels. Fran and I walked towards the alter of the church, and I was still in awe.
"So this is where people get married, right?" I asked suddenly as I looked back to Fran.
I was a little surprised to see that he didn't get flustered like he usually did. Instead, he had a light dusting of pink on his cheeks, and a soft smile. He then took both of my hands and locked his minty green eyes onto mine.
"Yeah, they'll usually say something along the lines of, I, Victor Frankenstein, take you, (Y/N) Beckford, to be my lawfully wedded wife," he began.
That was when I began to become flustered, my cheeks becoming red, but I stayed quiet as Fran continued, his voice becoming softer as he spoke the words with love.
"Through sickness and in health. Till death do us part. I will, forever and always, love you, (Y/N)," he said as he placed both hands onto my cheeks once again, my hands going around his waist.
I smiled up at him, my gaze becoming as soft as Fran's. I felt my heart beat a little faster, but it was for a good reason. I reason that I loved to feel.
"And then they say, you may kiss the bride, right?" I asked once again, but I already knew the answer.
Fran's eyes became ever so soft as he began to lean in towards me a little bit.
"Yes, they do. And I gladly will."
And with that, Fran placed tender kiss upon my lips as I closed my eyes. I kissed back, smiling slightly as well. I could tell that Fran meant every word that he said, and hopefully, when the time is right, I would say I do for real. And Fran and I could begin our new life, together.
