First POV
Arséne Lupin, the Gentleman Thief. The one who had stolen my heart since the first night that we met. I smiled at him as I began walking towards him, Lupin doing the same. Once we were close enough to each other, our hands met, fingers intertwining. I looked into his eyes.
"I love you, Lupin. And I always have," I confessed to him.
Lupin smiled as he pulled me in a little bit as he wrapped his arms around my waist with me placing my hands onto his shoulders.
"I love you too. And, it would bring me great joy, if you were to spend the rest of your life with me."
When he said that, I turned a little red. And before I knew it, Lupin got down on one knee as he kept holding one of my hands, his other on his heart.
"(Y/N) Beckford, would you do me the honor in becoming Mrs. (Y/N) Lupin," he proposed.
I felt small tears coming to my eyes at his words. I placed my other hand by my mouth, but the answer to that question was already clear.
"Yes, yes I will," I nodded.
And with that, Lupin pulled me in for loving and passionate kiss. And so began the planning process of our wedding.
A few months later, the day had finally come. My wedding day, a day I'd never thought I'd see. But, there was something from the Code Realize incident that was still on my mind. I was sitting in the living room, thinking to myself a little bit before I heard the door open.
"(Y/N)," I heard Lupin's voice say as he walked over to me.
"Oh, Lupin," I said back.
Lupin stopped in front of me before placing his hands on his hips. He was still in his regular red suit, which I found a little odd.
"Well, you haven't changed yet," he teased me slightly as he smirk.
I let out a small laugh.
"Yeah, well, neither are you," I said back as he made his way over to the couch.
Lupin must've seen that I wasn't acting all excited when he sat down.
"Are you nervous?" He asked as I looked back down to my lap.
It wasn't really my nerves that were making me act like this, I guess. Cardia and I had talked the night before about this day, and she was more nervous than I was. I kept my eyes on my hands as I spoke.
"Well, no, not really. It's just... I'm a little tense," I admitted.
"Your tense?" He asked with a little bit of laughter at my bluntness.
I shrunk down a little at his teasing, but I wanted to tell my future husband what was on my mind. I didn't want Lupin thinking that I wanted to go back on this.
"Truth is, I'm more than thrilled to be doing this," I told him.
Seeing that I was still a bit tensed up, Lupin placed his hand on mine, causing me to relax a little bit. I looked up to him once again before explaining what was on my mind.
"I mean, I still don't really know how Cardia and I are still alive. I know for a fact that the Horologium's energy expired when we were on the Nautilus, and being the fact that I almost died afterwards. But, here we are. Cardia is a normal girl, and I finally have my true powers back," I began.
Continuing to hold Lupin's hand with one of my own, I opened the other to reveal the jewel that I had given Cardia. The one that appeared after Father disappeared. I looked down at it in curiosity.
"I wonder, who was it that gave us our lives? Was it Father? Or Finis? Someone else?" I asked out loud.
I felt Lupin giving my hand a squeeze before I looked back to him.
"Honestly, (Y/N) I don't think it was any of them. Truth is, it was you," he told me before he stood up.
I arched an eyebrow at him, a little confused at what he meant by that. But then, he turned around and smile at me.
"It was the awesome power of love. That's what I think," he said, winking at me as he finished.
I had to smile back at him, and then, I realized that it was time for me to get changed. Lupin held his arm out for me, a feeling of nostalgia since he had done that since we had first met each other. I gladly took it while taking my staff in the other, walking out to get ready to marry the man I loved most.
Third POV
It was a beautiful sunny day, the perfect day for a wedding ceremony. And the guests had already arrived, waiting outside of the church for the bride and groom to make their appearance.
Fran, Delly, and Cardia had been standing near the front of the crowd as the alchemist looked over to see Saint walking up to the three of them.
"You're here," Fran smiled.
"Forgive me for the delay," Saint apologized with a smile.
Finally, the people could hear the doors of the church opening, giving the signal that the couple to make their appearance to the people.
"It's time," Delly said happily, his smile as big as ever.
And with that (Y/N) and Lupin walked out of the church, smiling at each other, and hand in hand. Lupin had been wearing a white suit, complimenting (Y/N)'s white, strapless lace dress. It hugged her figure perfectly, and her (h/l) hair was down with flowers in it, replacing a veil. Her white Horologium sparkling in the sun. Her wings spread out as they stopped at the top of the stairs, looking down to those that they loved.
"You look great, both of you," Fran complimented, Cardia nodding beside him.
"Congratulations, you two," Saint added on.
But that wasn't all. The sight of the bride had been a little too much for Impey to handle.
"Ah! You're so gorgeous, I wanna die. That girl's an angel. No, a goddess! Dammit, Van! What'd Lupin do to deserve her!" Impey cried as he shook Van's shoulder.
Van tried to keep his patience, but it was no longer possible, and with that, Van began putting Impey in multiple holds. That only caused Impey to scream and shout as Fran tried to break the two up.
First POV
I watched as Fran tried to pull Impey out of Van's holds, giggling to myself as I kept my hand in Lupin's.
"At this point, I'm afraid they won't be able to exchange vows. Well, Lupin, shall we postpone?" I heard Saint ask.
Typical of these guys, but that's what I liked about being with them. I heard Lupin laugh as he scratched his head.
"With friends like these," I heard him say.
I was a little confused at what he met by that but my thoughts were cut off when I felt Lupin grabbed my waist, and twirled me around, finally leaning me down a little bit. I let out a flustered 'huh' as I grabbed his suit.
"My Princess, no matter what, I will always be by your side. And I promise, I steal your heart everyday," he told me.
I smiled back at him as my cheeks turned a bit pink.
"Honestly, you don't need to. My heart was yours from the very first glance," I said back to him.
We continued to look into each other's eyes. Our whole lives were still ahead of us, and I was excited for every bit of it.
"My darling girl, I love you."
"And I love you, Lupin. Forever."
And with that, our vows were sealed with a kiss as the church bells rang out through the sky. This was the beginning of our new lives together. A new future for us to build. And honestly, I was excited for every step of it.
"So, it begins."
"Yes it does."
We'll build a new world, together.
