SAMMY ROLLED her skirt down as she hopped in alejandros car, greeting everyone with a smile while alejandro started the car. they went off singing and laughing on the way to mattias house, once they arrived the girls sighed to herself and looked down.
this was her first time seeing him after the party and she knew it was gonna be awkward but she was here to enjoy the day not the be worried about the same boy she worries about all the time, today was her day.
"sup losers" mattia spoke sitting down harshly besides kairi, kairi smiled softly and turned to hailey. "hey" alejandro responded while tilting the wheel making the car make a sudden move hardly on the right.
"you okay?" alejandro whispered, the girl nodded and looked out the window trying to find peace, but all she found was mattias face laughing from behind at his phone. she turned to her shoes once again and just closed her eyes.
once they arrived at pop's the best restaurant on new jersey or so they group called it, sammy went with hailey and stayed by her side, hailey could calm sammy down just by being around her. sammy loved hailey like a sister and hailey did too.
"so what do you want sammy?" kairi asked, the girl looked up to alejandro and then to kairi "a salad, and lemonade" she talked, "see your order hasn't changed sam" mattia laughed, sammy started walking outside as she had forgotten something and fast enough mattia was already besides her "sam, am sorry... i regret everything i love you okay? am sorry i left you alone that night when you needed me i fucking hate myself because of that... please just, come back to me, okay?" mattia begged, sammy was shocked she didn't know what to do, but once she rubbed her eyes mattia was gone.
not exactly gone, but inside with the group laughing and making jokes, she had daydreamed like she had before multiple times, it was like she wanted mattia to apologize even if she had already forgiven him, maybe after all she did want mattia back.
"fuck this shit" sammy told herself, she grabbed her wallet and walked back to the restaurant, sitting down annoyed making everyone wonder what had happened.
hailey excused the conversation and turned to her bestfriend, "sammy?" she asked "are you okay?"
sammy nodded once again and took a bite out of her salad, making eye contact with mattia, he smiled softly just like he always did when she was mad at him or annoyed in their relation, she would always kiss him when he smiled like that but now a lot of things were stopping her from doing it, so she just smiled back and turned to her phone making mattia confused.
"so where are you guys planning to go for summer? we would rent a beach house together!" alejandro exclaimed, everyone nodded and kept eating making alejandro annoyed "or not poopy heads"
"who even says poopy heads anymore?" mattia giggled, "me" alejandro rolled his eyes playfully.
