Only for you || A Ushijima Wakatoshi Ff

(Edit on 23rd may: i got complaints that you couldnt see the photos at the end of the chapter so ive put them here. The first is Ushijima's yukata and the second is Maiko's Kimono hopefully this works idk...)

Before I knew it, it was winter. We get a two week vacation for the winter which includes Christmas and New Year's. During those two weeks we are sent home. I however don't go home.

Shiori and Nyoko and when Chiyoko was here even her parents are very understanding and they let me in whenever we are sent home. This time I was going to Nyoko's house.

"Aunty! Your favourite daughter is here!" I yelled as I opened the door. Nyoko's mother really loved to take care of me. She would often call me her favourite daughter just to tease Nyoko.

"Oh finally! Now I won't have to deal with Nyoko anymore,"

"Ma!"

I laughed at her.

"Do you need help?" Nyoko's elder brother, Kai asked pointing at my luggage.

"You think?" I squinted my eyes at him as I carried both bags upstairs into the guest room.

"Maiko! Nyoko! Lunch is going to be ready in about 15 minutes!"

"Yes!" I yelled back. It didn't take me long to change from my uniform to comfy, warmer clothes. I put on the fluffy socks Eita gifted me and boy were they warm.

"Thank you for the meal" I grabbed my chopsticks and started to eat.

"So Nyoko told me about the whole showdown at the finals."

"Ah yes, aunty. I was so frustrated. But now we're going to nationals so I don't care much about that anymore."

"Oo ma she has a boyfriend now," I chocked on my rice as I glared at Nyoko.

"Ohh look at you all grown up now huh?" Aunty wiggled her eyebrows at me witha sheepish grin. Like mother like daughter.

"And you won't guess who it is,"

"Nyoko!"

"No tell me I'm interested." Kai leaned forward. I hit his thigh and he hissed in pain.

"Ushijima Wakatoshi!"

"Oh really? I'm so happy, Maiko!" Aunty pulled me cheek. I pouted at first but then thanked her.

"One thing I need to say," I said, pausing ny eating.

"He invited me to his house...to meet his mother...."

"WHAT?!" all the three of them dropped their chopsticks.

"When did this happen?!"

"Just yesterday. On New Year's day, I have to go to his house for dinner...."

"What are you going to wear?" Aunty asked her interest peaked.

"Well, I have one kimono..."

"I'll lend you mine!" She squealed in excitement, "I'll have you looking like a doll and she won't be able to take her eyes off you,"

I felt tears swell up in my eyes. Lips began to tremble as those tears fell.

"What is it, dear?"

"Its just....its at times as these...I wish my mother could be like you."

"Aww, honey. I'm more or less your mother, right? Don't cry. Its okay," She pushed my head on her shoulder.

"Yeah, and I am equally an elder brother to you as I am to Nyoko. Get that in your head." I wiped my tears and sat back up straight.
