"There's no way you want to sleep the whole way to my pack? You just woke up from a nap" Wesley looked at me baffled.

"Me napping was something in the past, I don't see why we shouldn't sleep for a little while longer" He had woken me up not even two hours later saying he wants to get back to his pack before 6pm.

On top of all that, he wants me to run through the woods in my wolf form to his pack?? How does this make any sense, he's a bloody Alpha.

"Ella, he has a point. You can't sleep again. You won't sleep the night & Wesley isn't your babysitter that's going to entertain you all night or take care of you" Dad was sat in the kitchen with some tea, we was saying bye to him but Wesley mentioned our travel arrangements which had set off a tantrum.

"Come on, it won't be that bad. It'll cut the travel time in half. Unless you want me to carry you from behind your neck the whole time?" I growled at him.

Carrying a wolf from behind their neck is usually what mothers do to their pups. Most of the time when they misbehave. "Wowow was that Wesley?" Jacob bursted in the room a smug look on his face. "Jacob, explain to Wesley how me sleeping the whole way is a good idea" I pleaded. "Wesley, it's a good idea" Was all he said. I went across to hug my annoying best friend.

"It's alpha to you pu-" Wesley was growling out but I quickly cut him off.

"I'm on my period!"

"Gross" Jacob muttered before letting go of me. Wesley also in the process of grabbing me out of his arms too. Which resulted in me being held up against his chest.

"We didn't need to know that Ella" Dad said with an unimpressed look on his face. "So who's driving Alpha?" I asked smiling up at Wesley.

"Well for lying we're not going in a car" he huffed out taking me out of his embrace.

So maybe I told a slight white lie however, I'm due in a few days according to my period tracker so technically I'm still on right??

"Okay okay, but when I am, I expect to be treated like a queen & all my demands to be answered" I said crossing my arms across my chest. He had pulled me out of his embrace. "I'll be at your hand & foot sweetheart once you learn to not lie" I nodded my head.

"Bye Dad love you, see you in a few days. Jacob tell Becca & Maria where I went. Wesley, I'll race you to your pack" I screamed out running outside the door & shifting making my way towards the trees.

A growl stopped me in my tracks. Wesley had used his Alpha tone & commanded me to stop. "Are you stupid? Running off into the woods like that? You follow me & we go a safer way" he growled out. He had ran too me, his chest slightly heaving. He looked furious.

I whimpered out loud for him to hear, not liking his tone. "Don't give me that, you know what happened the last time you didn't listen to me. Let's not make that a round two. Now let's go before it gets dark" with that he turned his back to me & shifted into his dark wolf.

I wanted to bite his stupid tail off for the tone he spoke to us in but he was right. I silently followed behind him. Him constantly looking back & whining every time I was a few feet away.

I was tired, Ruby was happily running with her mate. But I was exhausted. Being an Alphas daughter, shifting & running in the woods for such a long distance was something new to me. I posed as a threat so usually we would travel by car. Not to mention the hours I spent training earlier. Not to mention that my period is soon.

I had trailed slightly far from Wesley, he was so big & he didn't seem affected by the journey. I was jealous & it made me sad. Why can't I have big legs? I whined wanting to stop. He turned around & growled at me. As if asking me what I want.

We hadn't mated & he hadn't marked me so we couldn't communicate yet, making this so much more difficult. I stopped & rested. He shook his snout at me. Telling me to get up. I chose not to listen to him & closed my eyes for a few seconds. His footsteps were light, He pushed his snout to me, telling me to get up.

He was annoying me, I just want to rest.

He growled once realising I wasn't going to move. 'Ella honey, I hope you're not making this trip difficult for Alpha Wesley. He has a pack to get back too' Dad voiced to me through mind link. I shook my head. Not wanting to respond to Dad or Wesley.

"Ella you are making this difficult, either you carry on or I hold you by the neck in your wolf form & carry you" he growled out. I screwed my eyes shut, knowing that he'd be naked.

"Bark once if you are going to carry on the rest of the way & bark twice if you want me to carry you" He said, his voice hinted that he was unimpressed - fed up also but I didn't pay much attention. I put my head back down.

"Fine then, if you want to be difficult" was the last thing I heard. A few seconds later my paws were lifted off the ground. Next was my body, I was floating!

Wait, he's carrying me! Like a baby?! Like a pup!! I growled out. Moving but I was no luck. He had his jaw clamped tight on me. Once I had stopped moving he continued with the journey. It wasn't a painful position, it was just uncomfortable being tucked in such a position. But Ruby seemed content being pushed up against her mate not caring that he was treating us like a pup. She loved it.
