ELLAS POV:

"In exactly 48 hours I'll be back at your house. You tell me their plans & I'll lead you to safety. Until then, please use your brains & don't die" I spoke looking at Lanas bump at the end of my sentence.

"We'll try to keep safe, goodbye" Toby placed a hand across his mates bump. I nodded & turned around.

Quickly shifting into my wolf I ran pretty much straight. They had led me halfway through the forest & explained all I needed to do was go straight after this. Their scent would linger if they went any further & it would cause too much suspicion.

We knew the rouges from the south would eventually be back, to question them & they needed to be prepared for an interrogation.

If they were to randomly leave, it would cause too much suspicion. Rouges are smart & calculated as hard as it is to believe.

I was more of less back in touch with my wolf. But something was off, it was as if my communication was blocked off or bond I couldn't put my finger on it. I assume it was because of the high dose of wolfsbane I was injected with.

Lana had also informed me that the rouges had given Toby some sort of substance, which was a little tablet that knocks me out. Not too sure what it was, but he shoved it down my throat once I was hit over the head.

I still didn't like Lana that much for that.

A snap in the distance broke me out of my inner thoughts. Not this againnnnn!

I don't want to be attacked, I just want to go home. Can they not leave me alone? Come on, I'm just one women, give it a break.

Another snap was heard & I could hear footsteps. I was nowhere near my pack. Toby told me it took them around 8 hours to get me here & I had roughly been travelling for about two considering the movement of the sun.

Before the sunsets I should be home, but at this rate it'll be later. I stopped, the sound was coming from my left & getting closer.

I climbed the nearest tree to me, which was extremely difficult. I made sure I was high enough so the rest of the trees were practically touching each other & jumped from tree to tree. Feeling like Tarzan.

My palms were scratched & swollen. I was pretty much covered in moss & cuts from the harsh bark of the trees. However, I was making progress. Staying in the trees & high up allowed my scent not to drift & I could also see what was going on around me.

A few hours had passed by, the sun was slowly setting in front of me. I was still jumping from tree to tree.

I was breathing heavily, I was filled with anxiety. For the first time ever, I was scared.

I couldn't feel my father, I couldn't feel the pack & I couldn't feel my mate. My wolf was busy using all the strength to get me home, somewhere safe.

But at the same time I didn't want too go back. What was the point?

Father would lead the pack until he's old, if I wasn't there it would get passed onto Beta Henry & Jacob who would do amazing. Their practice & experience would lead an amazing pack, strong & determined. Especially when Jacob finds his mate. The pack would soon forget about me, so would my friends.

Alpha Wesley? Well him, he'd move on with Hannah that's if he hasn't already. They'd make an amazing couple, they share a bond that I can't even get past.

I had nobody, not even my mother wanted me.

Her & father had a rough start to their relationship. He had just become Alpha & he met my mother. Henry told me they were both in love instantly. Father was willing to do anything to keep her happy. She was a free soul, she didn't want responsibility which is understandable.

Just because she was mated to a Alpha didn't mean she had to give up her lifestyle & sacrifice everything for him. She didn't want the role of Luna & she made that very clear.

Every night she would be out partying, getting so drunk she'd spend the day knocked out only to do the same thing over & over.

Father didn't force any responsibility onto her, he worked to keep the pack stable. Day in, day out. My mother had begged him to go out one night & to keep her happy he did. That was the night I was conceived or as she'd like to think 'Her biggest mistake'.

She found out she was pregnant & tried to abort me secretly. This was in her first 3 months of pregnancy, my father was not aware.

She eventually killed the pack doctor because I was still living inside her, that was when dad found out. 'She never asked to be pregnant & it was all his fault. He had trapped her & forced all this responsibility onto her' So she said.

Dad begged her to keep me, tried to explain to her that he did nothing but love my mother & he had never had any bad intentions towards her. Told her that once I was born, he'd raise me. She wouldn't have to lift a finger when it came to me.

But that wasn't enough for her, she hated me. An unborn child, a small fetus barley developed. The second time she tried to abort me was when she went to the neighbouring pack.

She claimed father had raped her, forced her to bare his child. To which they were appalled by, they tried terminating me as soon as they heard the news.

They also informed the council, but my mother had convinced them to let her go back before he suspects anything. Once she found out that didn't work & I was still living she wrote letters to me, letting me know how much she hated me. She was forced to stop partying, wolfs have a strict rule to not give any pregnant wolves alcohol otherwise they would be punished so I had stopped her partying.

All her letters were addressed to me, all staring with 'To the pup that ruined my life. To the pup that I hate. To the pup I'd never forgive' all at least 3 pages. Signed with her blood at the end. I had read every single one.

Dad had been seized by the council, Beta Henry was in charge in the meantime. Fighting dads case.

The night of her death was a traumatic one, her 'lover' had came to rescue her. But refused to save her because she was pregnant. The council had also arrived at the same time, she was stabbing her stomach, 8 months in the pregnancy to 'remove me' she eventually passed out due to the blood loss.

I was born, a very unhealthy baby. She didn't take any vitamins & deprived me of most stuff during her pregnancy so I wasn't in the best of shape. Mother soon after died, due to pregnancy complications & heavy blood loss.

Eventually dad was freed, her journals detailed everything. What her plan was, why she did it all & the truth. Which was because she was in love with someone else.

It was painful for dad, he never talked about it or read what she wrote but I did. The council took all evidence & stored it away. So nobody could access them. However, as they were all address to be & were in my name despite me not being the owner I was allowed to access them.

Everyone in the pack & neighbouring packs already knew the real extent of what happened. But I wanted to know too, a little girl growing up without a mother was a norm to me but I was still curious.
