I had forced myself to eat before I left my pack territory to ensure my wolf had enough energy.

In all honesty, my body was screaming at me to rest. The shock of rejection & the complete detachment from my wolf was bizarre to me all I wanted to do was sleep.

However, sleeping would mean I'd spend most of the time crying & feeling sorry for myself & at this moment in time, I couldn't pity myself or take a break.

Getting to the area & meeting Lana & Toby seemed so much more easier this time round.

As soon as I had passed through, I could feel a presence. "I know someone's here, step out now & I'll leave you unharmed" I growled out.

"Idiot it's just us, now hurry & follow. My feet hurt & my ankles are swollen" The familiar voice on Lana whined out. Her baby bump protruded slightly, carrying a pup in your womb was like twins for a normal human.

I hurriedly followed them across to the small shack a little deeper in the woods. "They heard about Max's death. The rouges were annoyed but it scared them how even with you drugged up you were able to kill someone. You've intimidated them & put fear in them once again. There's be no mention of an attack since, the leader also has given the option for us to leave this place. He said he can send us to Mexico to live a whole new life with our pup since Max was their main contact they don't care about us" Toby spoke taking a seat, his mate followed after him placing her hand across his knee.

"Something seems strange, it makes no sense how they'd let you go so easily when you both would've directly had contact with me. Why are they willing to ship you both off so fast?" I sat down pondering.

It made no, sense why would they not want these two. Maybe not Lana because she's pregnant, but Toby? They'd want him to help, they almost kidnapped me once so why not have him do it again "Wait, not unless their hiding the truth from them" I mumbled the last few words. The missing piece starting to fit it.

"That's it, they don't want you to know. They don't trust you & they want you gone. Right, pack your stuff we're leaving now" I commanded in a hurry.

"What they can't possibly be doing that" Lana spoke, not even making an attempt to even pack up.

"Are you stupid Lana? Don't you see this is their plan. They don't trust you guys, now hurry up before they come looking for you again.

Actually wait, Toby, I want you to go to the leader. Tell him you want the tickets to Mexico, make it seem like you're upset & want to leave as fast as possibly. If my theory is right, he'll have the tickets ready. Me & Lana are going to pack everything up" I spewed out, I was trying to get these guys out of here safe & being on unfamiliar territory with no my wolf that doesn't want to comply was difficult.

He placed a kiss on Lana's head before mumbling something. She slightly nodded her head & stood towards her room. Toby left soon after leaving me, here to dwell.

A few minutes passed before Lana returned with two big backpacks, "Rouges always travel light so we don't own much" She muttered shyly.

"So what's your issue? Somethings up & considering we'll be here a while, do tell" Lana spoke, plonking herself on the seat across from me. She had slid some tea over to me, also sipping on her own mug, waiting for me to open up.

"Well you see how I mentioned the whole Wesley has a girlfriend? Well it kicked off- I then proceeded to fill her in on everything that happened from the moment I left her & Toby.

By the end of it, her eyes were teary & pity filled her eyes. "So he rejected you? Just like that? Why would he, he's so selfish!

You fucking begged him not too while laying in a hospital barley surviving from wolfsbane poisoning & he rejected you? Is he out of his mind, I get he's an Alpha but who the fuck did he think he is? Not to mention he left you, he didn't even wait to see how you were. Didn't even wait to see if you'd be okay, & they all left you! They knew you were high off your head with morphine! They knew you were recovering & they hurt you in such a way? What type of people are these, even rouges behave better then them!" Lana screamed out in pure confusion & frustration which then led her to crying.

In her little rant she had mentioned most of the things that were running through my head & I'm glad someone else thought the same. The people closets to my heart, really left me to fend off a dangerous pack of rouges. I wouldn't even survive 24 hours, but they still let me?

"C...can I hug you?" My words were barley audible because of the heavy lump in my throat I was holding back.

Lana pushed her chair back & made her way over to me, wrapping her arms tightly around me.

That was my tipping point, the sobs that soon escaped past my lips were unrecognisable. I was hurting more then words could describe. I felt like my heart had completely shattered. That was it, all this pent up emotion just finally exploded & even then, my wolf refused to come to bay. I couldn't even feel her, I was so disconnected from life, nothing felt real.

I know, two sad chapters & not much happened. Honestly going through a writers block & have been looking at the screen for hours trying to think of something so I let my current emotions guild me.
