ELLAS POV:

"We've been out for hours Wesley & not picked anything up here. No indication that she's towards the south. Maybe it was a tip off? They tried distracting us so they can escape. Either way we haven't found anything here. Let's head back & talk to her father & the council". The familiar voice of Ryan could be heard in the distance.

I was happy, still a few feet away from them & no sight of the pack house but I was safe! I still couldn't feel my wolf, no bond could be felt either.

"You don't get it Ryan, I need to save her. I need to find her now, today. It's nearly been 20 hours & there's no way I'm leaving my mate out there for the night. God knows what they'll do to her. I fucking knew it, I told her not to take the wolfsbane. I told her father to stop. You, also forced me to stay at the pack. I should've been here sooner. I could've saved her. Now she's in danger, in the hands of rouges & you already know I'm not going to head back. You go, I'll find her on my own if I have too. Screw here father & the council. I'll kill them all!" Wesley voice boomed. Even without my wolf his anger could be felt through the trees & ground. He was infuriated, the slight panic could also be heard.

I had started making my way closer to them, I had climbed up the nearest tree again. That way my scent wouldn't be stuck lurking in the woods. It'll eventually drift away & since I'm high up nobody would pick it up either.

"Alpha, in all seriousness. Let's not mention killing her father. How do you think she's going to react when she finds out you punched her father?-

WHAT?! HE PUNCHED MY FATHER!

With all the energy I had left in me. I swiftly jumped down from the tree directly in front of Wesley & before he could even react I planted a firm kick on his groin.

"What the-" Ryan's voice was cut off by the loud groaning coming from his Alpha.

Both shock & pain morphed onto Wesleys face.

Ryan stood rooted in place, not knowing how to react. Just because I felt like it, I punched Wesley in the face while he was still in his shocked daze. Specifically the cheek that previously had lipstick stains on.

Ryan ran across to me, pushing me away from his Alpha. Wesley growled at Ryan, even in his dazed phase he was still protective & territorial. Ryan didn't move, he stood in front of me.

Pushing me back away from Wesley, "Ryan move the fuck out of the way. That's my mate" He growled out to Ryan. An order, he also attempted to stand up.

Ryan submitted, & did as requested. Too bad his Alpha fucked up once again.

Before he was even up, I kicked him in the groin again. Toppling him over, this time slightly lighter.

I don't know what came over me, I just felt like a crazy bitch suddenly.

"Alpha I'm sorry, but she's only going to attack. I'm trying to protect you here" Ryan growled out still submitting but shuffling closer to me. Blocking me away from his Alpha.

"Ella, my love. Look honey, I know I've fucked up but come on. You're injured, let me heal you & you can attack me all you want. You're not safe here, we're so far out" Wesley spoke softly.

He had managed to stand up & push Ryan out of the way. He was holding my face in his hand looking directly in my eyes.

For the first time in a few hours I felt my wolf. The only thing she did was whine & cry. Clearly exhausted & from being poisoned. It hurt me, to see her like this.

"Come, let me take you home. I'll keep you safe, you can do whatever you want after. But I need to clean you up first" he spoke softly.

Placing a kiss on my forehead. My wolf went completely slack, she was safe. She knew she could put her guard down. Her mate was here to keep her protected.

My human form soon followed too. I placed my arms around his shoulders & hugged him. Allowing my body to relax.

He slipped his arms below my legs, carrying me. Tightly wound up in his chest. "Ryan, lead. We're taking her to Sharps pack doctor" He said to his Beta.

They both silently walked back, without even realising my eyes closed & I was engulfed in a deep sleep.

BETA RYANS POV:

I knew she was my Luna but she was one vengeful wolf. Slightly crazy too.

God knows which hole she crawled out of before attacking Alpha. A firm kick too, I had no clue on how he was standing at this point. Certainly not after two kicks. I'd be wishing the moon goddess to take me away. I'd play dead, but to my relief she was only out to get Wesley.

However, in all honesty he deserved it. As much as my wolf didn't enjoy it, I was glad she did it. The moron is so clueless it hurts.

Letting Hannah kiss him & then leaving her lipstick stains on his cheek?! He's as stupid & clueless as you can get.

Kacy was fuming too, she's been refusing to talk to him. Any issues, she communicates through me to him & vice versa she wanted her Luna back & was disappointed with our Alpha.

Despite him trying to clear the air, she still didn't care for what he had to say. Not only that, he let her walk away.

We didn't expect her to leave so late. Wesley was so caught up in his own feelings that he realised she left a few hours later. At that point he was at my throat.

Eventually, her Beta Henry confirmed she had returned home which calmed him down. No mention of any issues, which lead us to believe she didn't tell anyone why she left.

But Wesley, he's stupid. Never had a girlfriend, always had waited for his mate. He used to get so many advances in college from females but he was too caught up with leading a pack to notice. He had no experience, no sisters either.

But this? I knew he'd have my head for. I convinced him to stay at the pack, to give her time & space & she ends up kidnapped? I walked my Luna into that danger.

She was covered in blood, her arms scratched up. Claw markings running along them. From what it looked like, she was in a wreck.

Wesley growled at me. I broke my line of sight from her & carried walking back to her pack.

"Don't look at my mate, bitch" Wesley muttered a few seconds later. I looked back at him & scoffed. "Oka-"

"Just shut up, why do you always speak" Wesley growled out once again cutting me off from what I was saying.

"Why do you always growl? Get a grip, I'm surprised Ella hasn't woken up from your manhandling" I replied back & put some distance between us.

He didn't speak much after that, we had been in these woods for a few hours but Wesleys scent was still lingered in the air so we followed it back. Hopefully this moron hadn't been running in circles otherwise we're screwed.
