"Oh come on, you can't still be angry about what I said, I didn't mean it" Alpha Wesley said while we made our way down to everyone. He had currently spent the last 10 minutes trying to get me to talk to him after realising I'm giving him the silent treatment.

Maybe I'm being over dramatic? But who cares, not me.

"Ella, just the person I wanted to see. Come here!" Dads voice boomed through the living room causing everyone to stop whatever they were doing. "Good luck" Becca whispered.

I made my way to the kitchen to see dad sat at the table. "I didn't ask for your boyfriend to come too" he spoke once realising Wesley was behind me. "Pffft boyfriend? More like acquaintance" I sat in the chair directly opposite him. "Wow sweetheart, that one hurt" Wesley said pulling a chair up besides me.

"Okay, enough small talk. Why did you get so drunk & nearly sexually harass the bartender?" Dad questioned his arm crossed an unimpressed look on his face. "He seemed like he was going to enjoy it" Dad didn't even get a chance to register what I said before we were greeted by an angry growl "Mate, mine" he roared out.

"Ella, stop being stupid. I'm sure your mate has already had a word with you. Just don't let me down in the future & punishment is 50 laps" Dad said standing up from the table.

"But my he-" I was just about to complain before dad cut me off. "Did I ask if your head hurt or anything? Do the laps before I make it 70" He said now leaving the room. 

"50 laps? Good luck walking once you're done, you haven't done exercise in over 3 months" Becca spoke entering the room followed by Maria & Jacob.

"You guys are the ones that gave me the idea & watched me get drunk. You should be doing laps too" I groaned out not wanting to exercise. "Oh I think my mums calling me home, BYE! Becca screamed. "Hey, will you look at that my mum wants me too" Maria said hopping out of her seat.

Jacob laughed at them, I cocked an eyebrow up at him, waiting for his dramatic exit. "Oh no sweet cheeks, I'm staying here" he said sitting up on the counter.

"If anything I wanted you gone" I groaned out putting my head on the table.

I was on my last lap, the worst thing about this was that our territory was a huge stretch of fields up on fields. If I let my wolf out she certainly would've completed this within 15 minutes. But that's what makes dads punishment worse, you can't shift. You simply stay in natural form & suck it up.

I instantly sensed Wesley around me somewhere, however my wolf was too focused on my breathing to bother looking for him. I had slowed myself down gradually so I didn't feel dizzy or get cramps once I'm done & made my way back home.

There he stood, a bright smile on his face once he noticed me. He held a towel in one hand & a big water bottle in the other. "Took your time mate, I nearly fell asleep waiting" he said pushing himself off the railings.

He passed me the towel first & once he was satisfied that my breathing had calmed down he unscrewed the lid & held the bottle up against my lips.

I went to push it away but he moved it back & raised an eyebrow up at me. "Since I've been such a nice mate, can I get a hug?" He asked.

"Ew, no" I said looking at him funny. I'm a sweaty mess. He stopped in his tracks, pouting his lip. "No, now get lost" I said heading up to have a body shower.

"Well I'm going then" he said stropping off.

Well okay then, that works too. 'You made mate sad' Ruby scolded me. He'll get over it, I need to have a shower & with that I got in blocking her off.

I had spent the last 5 minutes looking for my mate & I couldn't find him anywhere. Dad hadn't seen him since our chat. "Jacob, where's my mate?" Jacob was sat watching some show stuffing his face with popcorn. "Ooo a possessive pronoun, last I saw him he was in the study" he replied then switching back to the show.

I huffed & made my way back up, all this looking around for him had made my head hurt. I didn't sense him upstairs at all so I went back to Jacob & sat with him. My head slowly started pounding so I closed my eyes & put my head back.

"I know Wesley hasn't been the best, but you need to give him a chance. We're all new to this & he's trying to make it work. You set to be an alpha isn't making it easy either. He's trying & it's about time you stop being so stubborn & hot headed & put some effort in too" Jacob randomly said startling me.

I was going to reply but we were interrupted by the door slamming. Ruby jumped around relived to know her mate was close.

I hurriedly made my way to him, "where have you been?" I questioned. He just looked at me & shrugged his shoulders. "You need to have some medicine before it gets worse" He said waking straight to the kitchen. I followed him, looked confused while he handed me water & medicine. "The headache, drink up" he said watching me, making sure I had the medicine.

"So...do I get a hug for having a headache?" I mumbled looking down. "What was that? I didn't hear you" Wesley replied back, I looked up to see a wide smirk on his face. "Come onnnn, you heard me. My head hurts" I groaned out, my face & ears heating up.

I put my arms up & walked closer into his chest resting my head & wrapping my arms around him. He wrapped his arms around me too, holding even tighter.
