The five Ninja stared at the large temple, seeing black clouds in the sky for a second before it all cleared. A tourist lady was showing people with cameras and young kids the exterior.

"Welcome to Yang's Haunted Temple, the historical landmark and former home of Sensei Yang—!"

The young kids took photos of the statue in front of it, a deep grey and all mossy from being there for so long.

"He looks like Sensei Wu," Scarlett mumbled into Jay's ear, to which he nodded in agreement.

The woman continued to speak. "—the notorious sensei without a pupil, infamous for creating the lost martial art Airjitzu." Everyone gasped.

"Unfortunately, we can't take our tour groups inside, for rumors say anyone trapped inside its walls at sunrise, will be turned into a ghost—permanently." An ooh sound was heard among the crowd, the Ninja included.

"But, if you listen closely, maybe we'll be able to hear the ghost of Sensei Yang himself, looking for his lost pupils!"

"I hope it's not a rumor, for it's our only hope!" Zane shouted rather loudly, alarming everyone around him.

"Ah, sorry about our loud friend," Cole apologized to the people giving them looks. "He's a little hard of hearing."

The tour guide gave them a nasty glare, a warning. "Known for his—ahem—unusual teaching methods..."

Kai looked to Jay and Scarlett. "I thought you two fixed him?"

"At least he's no longer talking backwards," Jay countered. "I guess my tinkering got his volume level stuck, heh..."

"I told you not to use that screw!" Scarlett huffed.

"At least you can understand me now!" the nindroid shouted right into Cole's ear.

The tour guide was now fed up. "Dating back, ahem, to the Edo Period..."

"Well, from now on, talk only if you have something really important to say," the earth ninja told him.

"Who put you in charge?" Kai questioned.

"I did. After you guys mucked it up, it's my turn to be in charge. And like me, I like my plans simple. We sneak in, learn Airjitzu from the ghost of Sensei Yang, then get out before sun-up."

"Since Morro already knows Airjitzu, we just have to hope he hasn't figured out the next clue."

The tour guide then led everyone to the bus while the five hid behind the statue.. "Well, the sun is setting, which means we should head back to the bus. Wouldn't want anyone to turn into a ghost!"

The others grimly chuckled at her joke, and seeing that the bus left, they were able to relax.

"Okay, let's go," Scarlett said, ready to head to the door. But Jay grabbed her wrist and yanked her back.

A couple of hours had passed, and when the sky was finally dark enough, everyone popped their heads out of the statue.

"I don't understand why we had to wait until nighttime to do this..." Scarlett said, following the boys to the door. "And there's no one here... why are we sneaking in?"

"Scarlett... are you not a Ninja?" Jay questioned in a loud whisper, heading over to the window with Cole and trying to pry it open.

She sighed, walking with Kai and Zane. She grabbed the doorknob, pulling the door open with ease. "I'm a Ninja—just not stupid."
