He was running, but he didn't know what he was running from, he just knew it was danger. An older man held him running. He looked very tired and deep in thought. Suddenly they ran on a long, wide path on which a plane stood. The old man said something to him, and he didn't quite understand what he was saying, but he knew what he was thinking. They ran to the plane, which began to take off slowly. The old man opened the door and threw him on the plane. He reached out to help the old man and screamed. Instead of grabbing his hand, the man handed over the pouch, and at the last moment before he could do anything, the door closed. He looked out the window and saw the old man standing on the road with his hands together. Suddenly a sharp blow was heard and his gaze began to blur. He slammed the door with the force of sadness and anger. After a while, he just felt tired, and just opened one of the boxes where he hid and cried softly.

It's after seven o'clock in the morning, and Clemont decided he could make breakfast to everyone when the professor was nice to let them sleep in the lab. He was already preparing pancakes when he noticed that some of the berries he had prepared had disappeared. He stared for a moment where they had disappeared.

"If you are looking for berries, they are or rather were under the table."

The blond boy thought he might jump out of his skin when suddenly a male voice was heard in the kitchen. Within a second, he turned and saw Ash in the door, who was not yet in his normal clothes, but was already wearing shorts ,short shirt and sneakers. Clemont looked for Pikachu, who wasn't next to Ash.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." said the Kantonian and came more into the kitchen.

"What did you mean by are or rather were?" Clemont asked, confused.

Instead of answering, Ash pointed under the table. Clemont bent down and saw a green prickly pokemon sitting with his back to him and eating berries. After a moment, Pokemon noticed that he was already alert and nervously laughed and put another berry in his mouth and ran away.

"This pokemon looks like he has a solid appetite." Ash said with a slight laugh. "By the way, do you know what a pokemon it is?"

"That is Chespin. Another starting pokemon." he said, reaching for the rest of the uneaten berries. "Why are you up so early at all? I thought you would rest after yesterday."

"I woke up early, so I went for a run."

"Nothing says to you, 'Don't strain your body, your skin has yet to recover?'"

"It's was just a scratch."

"You have a scratch when you stumble. Not when a huge pokemon hurts you."

"Jeez, you are acting like my mother when I explained her rescue of Teddiursa."

"So you should pray that no Kalos televisions are broadcasting to Kanto. And what do you mean, saving Teddiursa?" Clemont said, deciding to pass Ash the toast.

"That's one of the stories I would rather not tell you now. And yes, I'm just praying Mom won't hear about the news."

They both laughed and Ash began to enjoy eating, while Clemont began to work out how to solve the missing berries.

Meanwhile in Vaniville Town, Grace woke up and decided to wake Serena earlier, only to find out she wasn't in her room. She went down the stairs, confused, just to notice and realize why Serena was not in her room. Serena was already in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for herself and Fennekin.

"I knew you would want to get ready, but I had no idea you'd get up so soon." she said with a smirk as she leaned against the door.

Serena jumped a little when she heard her mom talking to her. She turned and smiled nervously.
