Joo Hyun and Hyoyeon was left inside the classroom, they were the ones who were tasked for cleaning when a heavy rain poured.
“Oh no! Oppa is outside waiting for me. Is it okay if I go ahead of you Joo Hyun-ah?” Hyoyeon asked
“Yah! If you’re brother is not there waiting for you in the rain, it won’t be okay. You can go ahead, I’ll finish everything up.” She said holding the broom up as if she was going to hit her with it
“Komawo Joo Hyun-ah! I promise, I’ll make up to you” she said while holding her shoulders and hurriedly went out the classroom
Joo Hyun looked at her departing figure from the window then looked at the sky “It’s not going to stop anytime soon.” She said “Otoke.. I don’t have an umbrella with me. Aish!!” she mumbled to herself and went back to work
Yonghwa was in the library reading some books while Chanyeol was in the open field playing basketball when the rain poured.
Chanyeol and his mates ran at the nearby shed. Yonghwa sighed and looked at his watch “I’ll wait for it to stop.” He said then stood up to look for more books to read to keep him busy
Joo Hyun has finished cleaning “Maybe I’ll just get home and get drenched, I’ll just take a bath when I reach home.” She thought “I’ll just leave my notes here, we don’t have assignments for tomorrow so it would be fine” she locked the door and went outside looking at the gate “Aish! I’d be totally drenched before I get to that gate, why would it be so far across our classroom.” She muttered and started to stride her way in the rain
Chanyeol saw her walking her way out of the school and decided to accompany her of her quest. “Joo Hyun-ah! You’re going home when it’s still pouring? You’ll get sick!” he said looking at her, white cotton uniform stuck on her now petite figure her black bra visible
“Yeah! Kwenchana, I’ll take a bath when I get home” she said oblivious of her current state and went past him
“I’ll accompany you then. It would be fun to play around when you have someone to share it with.” He said following her
“Suit yourself” she said a smile spread on her face.
Yonghwa looked over the window just in time to witness Joo Hyun getting soak and her figure formed in her soaked uniform
“Why is she talking to that man at that state.” He said brows creased “He’s checking her out for Christ’s sake! She didn’t she even notice!”
“Yah! Would you like to play catch? It would be triple fun!” Chanyeol asked eyes playful and started to run around in circles her in the middle
“Yeah! I’m going to catch you in time" running as much as she could to catch him “Yah! Slow down a bit, it’s not fair!” as she ran
Yonghwa looked at them as they ran their way out of the school, he then pull his umbrella up and started to walk by himself “Stupid girl!” he muttered
That was the day Chanyeol and Joo Hyun became closer.

Hyoyeon ran as fast as she can to get to the waiting person outside their school. She was not planning to actually be there, but because it rained, her conscience bugged her. He said he’d be waiting no matter what time they’d finish their task. Annoyed she clucked her tongue to the person leaning on the school gate, now starting to get soaked by the rain.
“Tsk! What is it that you want, really?” she asked “You have been bugging me for a while now!”
Kyuhyun looked at her, glad she showed up, he was readying himself to be stood up just like the other days. He smiled at her “I guess I’ll have to thank the rain that you showed up. Follow me” he said and led the way.
She stomped her feet before following. They stopped at the nearby shed.
“Now spill it” she demanded her hands on her hips.
“Tsk. I didn’t know you’re impatient. Chill, will you?” he countered
“Just say it so I can get home d*mn it! I even lied to Seo Joo Hyun because of you!” she nagged
He held his hands up in surrender “Okay, okay. So you see.... uhmn...”
Her eyebrows creased further in frustration “What?!”
She studied his now flustered face, his shy smile and his hand on his nape “He wouldn’t. Is he going to confess to ME?!” she thought a little rattled
“U-uh, I overheard you and Joo Hyun talking that day” he started “That day that you said you became self conscious the moment you had a crush” he continued after he saw Hyoyeon’s confused look
“S-so, what are you implying?” she asked her heart started to beat faster than usual
“I was just c-curious about something” he said his gaze fixed on his shoes
“You’re curious who my crush is?” she added
“Ani, I was curious who J-Joo Hyun’s crush is” he clarified his face now crimson
Hyoyeon’s face fell, disappointed “O-oh, I thought...”
He gave her a questioning look “You thought what?”
“U-uh, never mind.” she cleared her throat before she continued “And why are you so curious?” her voice now stiffened “When you always bully the poor gi..” she stopped her eyes widened in realization, a chuckle escaped her lips “No way” she said as she studied his blushing face. “You’re the type that pulls prank at the girl you like! What are you? In kindergarten?!” she laughed out loud “Oh wait! You started pulling pranks on her since kindergarten! OMG!” she felt her now aching stomach and wiped the tears that fell due to laughing so hard
Feeling insulted, Kyuhyun turned his back on her and walked away. But not before Hyoyeon notice the tears that were about to fall, it made her stop laughing “Kyuhyun-ah!”
He walked without looking back “I’m sorry!” she said as she grabbed his elbow to stop him but to no avail “I’ll help you win her!” she yelled that made him turn

Senior year has come. Their class was in need for a representative in a beauty contest in their school.
“I recommend Seo Joo Hyun!” Chanyeol raised his arm enthusiastically
Kyuhyun stared at him silently, Hyoyeon nudge him in return “Stop it” she whispered at him
Everyone in the class look at her as she shook her head together with her both hands protesting. “ANIYA!” she almost screamed when they heard someone beside her chuckled which turned in to laughter his one hand on his stomach one hand wiping the tear that came down due to laughing so hard as if he heard a good joke.
“Are you serious?!” Yonghwa said after his laughter subsides “You’re considering her as a contestant? That is the most hilarious thing I’d ever heard.” He continued “I think Shin Hye should represent us.”
“Yah…!” Chanyeol stood, rushed to Yonghwa and held his collar his left hand formed a fist
“Chanyeol-ah! Stop it!!” Joo Hyun said while holding his shoulder “He’s not worth it.” She continued and looked at Yonghwa hurt evident in her eyes
“Chanyeol-ssi, Joo Hyun-ssi go back to your seat. Jung Yonghwa -ssi, apologize. Now!” the teacher implied in which Yonghwa complied immediately “Now, you recommended Seo Joo Hyun and Park Shin Hye. But it seems Joo Hyun-ssi has refused which leaves us…”
“Aniya! I changed my mind. I’d do it!” she said and looked at Yonghwa eyes fired up with challenge
“Shin Hye-ssi?” the teacher looked at the other girl
“I think it’s good that Joo Hyun-ssi represent our class” Shin Hye said an impish smile formed her lips “At least I’m not the one who’ll be humiliated in front of everyone.” She thought
“It’s decided then. Joo Hyun-ssi, ask your parents’ permission about it and do the preparations. And choose an escort.” The teacher continued
“I’ll choose Chanyeol-ssi for my escort.” Joo Hyun said just as soon as the teacher instructed her to do
