First school day after the pageant, Yonghwa was waiting for Joo Hyun in front of their gate, when he saw her and Chanyeol approaching, arms clinging, both laughing. She did not even give a glance when they passed him.
“YAH!” he called. Chanyeol turned his head and gave him a quizzical look.
Joo Hyun froze and stopped talking; she knew the voice too well.
“Oppa!” Shin Hye came just in time Joo Hyun found the courage to turn her head. She saw how Shin Hye affectionately held Yonghwa’s hand.
She pulled Chanyeol closer then walked as if she hadn’t seen a thing. Yonghwa and Shin Hye were completely ignored.
Yonghwa followed quietly behind them as though he was not hearing Shin Hye talking. His mind was wandering, looking at both people in front of him.
Joo Hyun and Chanyeol were talking animatedly about the recent pageant.
“Dangshin, what do you think? Are we going to give it a try? The SME offer, I mean” Chanyeol asked Joo Hyun
Joo Hyun laughed at the endearment “Dangshin?! Hmnn I like it.” She gave him a smile “I don’t know. What do you think? Is it a good idea? Have you talked about it with Omonim?” she asked continuously while looking at him fondly
“I haven’t talked it out with omma. How about you? Did you? With Omonim?” he asked while looking down at her
Joo Hyun shook her head. “We’ll think about it thoroughly.” She said “But what I’m sure is that if you aren’t doing it, I won’t.” she continued
Chanyeol smirked “You really want to be with me, dangshin?” he then tickled her and ran
“Yah!” she laughed and started to ran after him, until they got to school.
“What’s with the dangshin and omonim?” Yonghwa unknowingly voiced out what he was thinking
“They’re that close.” Shin Hye replied “Pali, kaja!” she dragged him
Yonghwa followed, though what Shin Hye said left a pang on his heart. “I have to talk to her.” he thought

“Joo Hyun-ah” Yonghwa approached her just after the class ended “Let’s go.” He took her bag from her but she resisted and pretended not to hear
“Chanyeol-ah, let’s go. We have to talk to omma and omonim.” She turned her back on Yonghwa and approached Chanyeol
Yonghwa felt his heart was ripped into two when he saw her turning her back on him. “Does she really mean it? She really wants me out of her life?” he sat down the nearest chair as Joo Hyun and Chanyeol went out the room
He covered his face when tears started to flow; he felt as though a part his life was taken from him.
“Oppa?” Shin Hye came back looking for him. “I thought you left with Joo Hyun.”
He turned his back and wiped his tears as soon as Shin Hye closed their distance
“They have something they need to do.” He stood and started to walk out
“Oppa! Let’s go home together. Or it would be great if we’ll go on our first date.” she said as she did her aegyo
Yonghwa looked at her as she fluttered her eyes. “Aigoo, why are you doing this? I’m not in the mood for a date.” he forced a smile while pinching her cheek “We’ll just go home. I’m not feeling well.”
Shin Hye moved to touch his forehead. “Are you having fever?”
Yonghwa stopped her hand from touching him “Kwenchana. I just don’t feel well today.” He said and sighed “I’ll bring you home first. Let’s go.”
She pouted then followed him quickly.

“Omma, Omonim, you knew about the SME offer right?” Joo Hyun started as soon as they sat on the chair across them. They are in a fast food chain and they have been waiting for them to come.
“Yes, that is a good opportunity, but how about your studies?” her mom said ambivalent of the present situation
“We can still study, we’ll be trainees for a while before we debut.” Chanyeol answered
“Do you want to try your luck in the entertainment industry?” Chanyeol’s mom asked both of them in a serious tone
They both looked at each other before he answered “If you ask me, I’d want to, but if Joo Hyun won’t and you object, then I’ll consider a different path.” He said
Joo Hyun nodded “Same here. I won’t join the industry alone and without any support from my family. That is why we asked your opinion about it.”
“What do you think Joo Hyun Omma?” his mom asked
“That industry is unstable, you both might be bashed, can you both handle it?” her mom asked them
“If that happens we are here for each other and you too. We’ll go through it together.” Joo Hyun answered
Their mom nodded in understanding and sighed deeply “Well I can see that you are eager to accept the offer. I just hope the decision is worth it. I give you blessing to do whatever you want.” Her mom said
“Just remember to study well and invest wisely. We are behind your back all the time” his mom added
“Komawo omma, omonim.” They both beamed “Let’s order our food”

Yonghwa was passing by the fast food chain when he saw them sitting and talking seriously. He went in and sat away from their sight but close enough to hear their conversation.
“So they are going to accept the offer.” He thought and stood up as soon as he heard them order their food.
He went inside an internet café nearby and searched for entertainment agencies that are going to hold an audition. “I’ll follow you everywhere you go Seo Joo Hyun.” He smiled sheepishly
