Yonghwa unwillingly turned his back and walk away slowly. He reached for his phone and dialed Chanyeol’s number. “She’s heading there. Thank you for taking care of her in my place. Please continue to look after her.” He spoke as soon as Chanyeol answered
“I’m sorry to have interrupted again.” Chanyeol answered while stepping inside his apartment.
“Ani, she was the one who called you. She’s not ready yet, she needs time. And I’m willing to give it to her. At least I owe her that. So I’ll trust her with you for now.” Yonghwa said while picking up his speed his hair tossed by the cool night breeze
“I understand. As long as you’re sincere I’d be glad to be of help.” Chanyeol heard a knock on his door “I have to go she’s here.” He whispered and disconnected. He opened the door with a smile plastered on his face. “Dangshin!”

Joo Hyun was walking fast to Chanyeol’s apartment, bothered with the closeness Yonghwa initiated earlier, it scares her. “I almost forgot.” She sigh her right hand on her forehead, shaking her head.
“But you liked it. Don’t worry, it was just this once.” It’s as if a voice inside her talked. She stopped abruptly and with trembling hands she covered her face
“Shut up!” she said, frustrated. People looked at her in confusion as they walk pass her. Her face flustered when she saw the look in their faces, wanting to hide she then hurriedly walk away.
Her face lightened up when she saw Chanyeol opened the door “Chingu!!!” she grabbed his arm and walk in. “You just got home?” she asked looking at his unchanged clothes
“Uhm.. yeah! I was heading hear when you called. You had dinner?” he asked pretending not to know anything “I’m starving” he said his hand on his stomach while searching his refrigerator for something to eat.
“I had some…” she said hesitating “with Yonghwa” she looked up to see Chanyeol’s reaction
Chanyeol hid his smile and turned to face her “That’s good! You two have made up then?” he asked with a smile
“I don’t know.” She said confused “Maybe.” Her face reddened when she remembered how close they were earlier
Chanyeol stared at her intently “So, where is he? Were you not having fun with him?” he probed
“Uhmn… “ she sigh and looked away. “It was okay. But I was uncomfortable.” She said biting her lip
“And you were uncomfortable because?” he asked carefully
“He was so close!!” she exclaimed defensively
“What do you mean close?” he smirked “Did he kiss you? That close?” he sat beside her and imitated what he saw between her and Yonghwa earlier “or just this close?” he said
Joo Hyun was startled with the act, she looked down at Chanyeol who is comfortably leaning his head on her shoulder “This close! Did you see us?!” she asked her eyes probing
Chanyeol closed his eyes to prevent her from reading his lies “Ani, I was with Luna practicing, have you forgotten? So are you uncomfortable now that I’m this close?” he immediately changed the subject
Joo Hyun lean her head on top of Chanyeol’s and said “Ani.” she smiled
“We are in the same position with Yonghwa earlier and you felt uncomfortable with him, why?” he sat straight and started to eat, offering Joo Hyun some bite
Joo Hyun don’t know how to answer his question, so she opted to stay silent.
Chanyeol stared at her “You still love him.” he stated “And that is making you uncomfortable.” He pointed out “And you are scared of it, that’s why you are holding back, right?”
Joo Hyun looked astonished “He can read me like a book!” she thought, she stood up and went to get a drink to buy her time before answering “I’m afraid of getting hurt again.” She acknowledged after she sat slowly beside him “I’m afraid he would reject me the second time.”
“I understand how you feel. But I’ll give you something to ponder.” He paused, enclosed her hand in his and continued “Don’t you think you deserve a second chance of happiness? Maybe this time you’ll have him”
She looked at him straight her eyes welled “But…..” she sighed
“Just think about it.” Chanyeol interrupted

Yonghwa went to Jungshin’s apartment nearby after his call. They were sitting comfortably across each other while drinking beer.
“What will I do? She’s like a scared cat when I’m near her.” Yonghwa asked his friend
“You needed to gain her trust again.” Jungshin said after drinking “Act as a friend but at the same time make subtle advances just like earlier. Make her feel treasured not just as a friend but as your woman as well.”
Yonghwa looked confused but he understood what Jungshin said. “Where will I start though?”
“Just continue what you did earlier, but be keener on her responses. And act according to it.” Jungshin stated.
Their phone rang at the same time; a message came in from their management. Yonghwa read it out loud “We will have an important meeting tomorrow at the office. Please be there by 10 am. Did you receive the same message?” He looked at Jungshin with a quizzical look
“Yeah. I wonder what the agenda is.” He said looking as confused as the other

Four boys are chatting while waiting for their President to come and start the meeting. Each of them has a prediction of the reason why they were called, but they kept it on their own.
They were talking about random things when the Boss arrived. They stood up and bowed in unison to give respect “Anyeonghaseyo.” They greeted
Mr. Lee, the president of FNC acknowledged them and motioned them to have their seat. “Thank you for coming here. I’m sure you are asking to why you were called here today.” He cleared his throat and continued “I have been watching all the trainees closely and I’m glad that in a short period of time the four of you were the ones who stand out during the selection. So now I’ll inform you that you were chosen to debut as a group.”
The boys grinned from ear to ear, pleased from what they’ve heard. They looked at each other excitedly.
“We are planning for a concept and your songs. If you have your own composition, then let us hear it. We’ll decide if we’ll include it or not.” The president continued “You have been practicing in different bands, right?” he asked
“Me, Jungshin are in the same band. Minhyuk and Jong Hyun are from the same band too” Yonghwa answered
“But we’re close.” He Jong Hyun chirped
The boss smiled “I’m glad to hear that. Please work hard in rehearsing as a group now.” He nodded “If there are any concerns, ask your manager. You’ll have one later. You can go” he stood and left the room
The boys can’t believe their luck. They have just been training for 6 months now. Other trainees who were there before them were envious. But they can’t do something about it.

The moment he stepped out from FNC office he called Joo Hyun “Joo Hyun-ah! I was chosen as one of a member to debut as band this year!” he said as soon as she picked up
“Really?! Congratulations!” she said in an excited tone.
