Like a blushing bride Joo Hyun stood in front of them her dress hung freely, her perfect figure visible, uncertain of what to do next.
Yonghwa, Chanyeol and Kyuhyun gaped at her. Both blinked their eyes as if they saw an apparition.
Kwanghee clapped “Andwe!” he said loudly that made the three of them jump. “I want to see the confidence in you. Keep in mind and believe you are beautiful.” He continued
Chanyeol came back to his senses and stood clapping his hands “I’ve never doubted even once that you’re this stunning.” He said while admiring the beauty in front of him
Kyuhyun blinked once and then twice, it was as if he was seeing the cute and shy little girl being held tight by her mother standing at their preschool entrance. He sighed and let out a sad smile. “I’m halfway over you Joo Hyun” he thought. A light press on his elbow made him pull his gaze from Joo Hyun to Hyoyeon, he saw her lightly nod as if in understanding, he gave her a smile in return
Yonghwa’s heart was racing while looking at her, he wanted to grab Joo Hyun and hide her away from Chanyeol and Kyuhyun’s sight.
Joo Hyun blushed, “Thank you.” She said while touching her cheek she shifted her gaze to Yonghwa “Yah! What do you think?” she said while turning slowly
Yonghwa’s eyes were wide in disbelief, he gathered himself back in time as he stood and check her out from head to toe “Who are you? What have you done to my friend?” he jokingly said while giving her an adoring smile
“YAH!” she pouted
Yonghwa smiled “Yipouda!” he then gave her two thumbs up.
“Now, enough of this. The show will start any minute.” Kwanghee interrupted “Yonghwa, thank you for your help, I have everything I need now. You can watch and enjoy the show with your friends. But check your hand phone from time to time, I might need you. Arasso?” he continued
Yonghwa smiled and nodded “Arasso.” he then turned Joo Hyun touched her shoulder and said “Good luck. Do your best I’ll be cheering for you at the audience. You’ll see me up front.” he then gave her a wink before he left
“Chanyeol and the two of you, get yourselves ready for the talent portion.” Kwanghee instructed
“Arasso.” he answered and whispered to Joo Hyun. “You’ll take home the crown, I’m sure of it.” That made her smile wider
Yonghwa looked back and saw Chanyeol kissed Joo Hyun on the forehead and beamed. He then continued to walk to his spot, the chair right next to Shin Hye.
“Remember to impress the judges, they are big people, I heard one of them is from SM Entertainment.” Kwanghee touched her hair then her chin “You are all set. Good Luck!”
The pageant has started; each contestant went to stage and introduced themselves. It was Joo Hyun’s turn to shine on stage; she walked with confidence and elegance while her eyes are searching for one person in the audience. Her smile faltered a bit when she saw who he was with.
Yonghwa was staring at her while she was on stage. His eyes have shown emotions he doesn’t realize yet but to Shin Hye who is staring at him the whole time, understood.
The talent portion is next. There was an intermission number.
“Oppa, can you accompany me outside I have something to tell you.” Shin Hye said while holding Yonghwa’s elbow
“Can’t it wait? It’s going to start soon.” He pretested
“It’s urgent, don’t worry we won’t miss a thing. I’ll make it quick.” She encouraged
“Arasso.” they then stood up and went outside
“Oppa, you like me right?” she asked closing the distance
“W-well yeah.” He answered a bit hesitant
Shin Hye smiled sweetly “It’s official then, I’m your girl now.” She tip toed to reach Yonghwa’s unprepared lips.
Yonghwa was caught off guard for a moment but responded to her kiss with equal fervour before they decided to go back inside while holding hands and grinning like a love-sick puppy.
Chanyeol and Joo Hyun, Kyuhyun and Hyoyeon were talking while the contestants before her performed, they were reviewing their routine. “I’m nervous.” She said
“Kenchana. I’m here. You’ll do great.” Chanyeol pacified her while holding her cold and clammy hands, she took a deep breath when they were summoned to perform.
On stage, Joo Hyun and Chanyeol together with Hyoyeon and Kyuhyun danced passionately, they’d prepared medley songs, from jive to pop from samba to dirty dancing which left the audience and the judges in awe.
While they were dirty dancing, Yonghwa saw all they’re passionate body contacts. He was fuming inside that he was not able to realize that his grip on Shin Hye’s hand was tightening. “Aw, oppa it hurts.” She said trying to pull her hand
“Oh, Mianhe.” He released quickly and watched Joo Hyun and Chanyeol his stare disapproving.
“Why would she choose that kind of dance.” He thought irritation all over his face “They can just do the Salsa, sing a song, why would they do THAT!?” he can’t help but voice out his frustrations
“Oppa, they might really be dating to do that dance.” Shin Hye said with an impish grin.
