Movie Theatre

Your POV-

It was a Friday evening and I had just started my shift at the movie theatre. It was a boring job at times except for when Sam had the same shift as me. "Took you long enough." I joked, Sam rolled his eyes. " I had to get changed in the toilets, I was at Katrina's so I was in a rush." Katrina was Sams girlfriend, I had only met her three times but she is honestly such a sweet person.

----Time Skip-------

We had 20 minuets left of our shift, the time had sped by. Sam turned to me and asked "Y/N what are you doing once you have finished your shift?" A smirk crept across his face, I could tell he had something planned. "Nothing, probably gonna go home and watch Netflix, why?" He let out a smile knowing that I was free, "Well I was hoping that you would agree to be in a YouTube video for my channel, it's a best friend tag please." I looked over at him, he was now doing his puppy dog eyes and pouting his bottom lip. I chuckled at the sight and continued to make the popcorn to tease him. I could feel his eyes burning in the back of my head, he let out a heavy sigh now becoming impatient. I turned to face him and I raised an eyebrow, " Sure, I mean i have nothing better to do-" he cut me off "Thank you so much!" He scratched the back of his head realising he had cut me off, "sorry" he whispered. " Yes I will do it but, who would i be competing against, Kat?" He shook his head " No you will be against Colby, you know my Best friend from Kansas?" I nodded, I had never met Colby but I had seen some of his and Sams YouTube videos on their joint account, he seemed really nice. "Y/n so you still down to make the video with me?" Sam asked quietly, " Hell yeah! But I only have my work clothes." I sighed,I didn't really want to film a YouTube video in my work clothes and when I smelt of popcorn. "Oh, how about you go home get changed and meet me at my house in about 2 hours, so around 8:00?" I nodded and gave him a hug, I could see he was excited because for the rest of the shift he wouldn't stop smiling.

Our shift was now over and we kept chatting while Sam was waiting for Kat to pick him up outside our work. "Are you sure that Colby will like me?" I was nervous I had never met him before and he clearly meant a lot to Sam, and Sam means a lot to me, so I was hoping that me and Colby would get along. He sighed and pulled me into a hug "Y/n of course, I reckon you two will be great friends, trust me" I pulled away from the hug and smiled at him, we heard a car honk and turned to see Kat pulling up. "See you later" he said getting into the car "Yeah see you later, hey Kat!" I said smiling, "Hey y/n I have missed you. We should hang out sometime!" Kat yelled, "100%, I will text you, bye see you later" they drove away as I walked home, I lived just around the corner from the movie theatres so I didn't drive there.

I got home and started up a shower and began to get ready.
