Who are you?

-Colby's pov-

I walked towards the hospital doors as my heart ached and my hands shook, I was struggling to keep my breathing steady.
I loved y/n she was my everything, she was perfect her smile, her eyes and her kindness. She made me fall in love with her without trying.

Sam and I walked down the corridor and turned the corner, the room Kat was staying in caught my eye straight away. Was y/n in there with Kat? My thoughts raced through my head as I began to feel a lump in my throat and a pain in my chest as it tightened.
Sam must've seen I was panicking because he grabbed my arm and pulled me into a hug, "Colby calm down, it's y/n you know how strong she is, we can get through this. I don't know if y/n is with Kat but we will see just calm down".
I took a deep breath before releasing Sam, I sorted out my hair before taking another step closer towards Kat's room.

I stood outside the door pulling myself together before walking in, Kat was sat in her bed playing with her nails. She lifted her head at the sound of the door with tears in her eyes, I rushed over there to give her a hug as Sam followed behind me.

"Hey Kat , how you doing?" I asked biting my lip , I wanted to know how Kat was doing but I needed to know how y/n was doing. "I'm ok" she replied softly Sam leant over and kissed her on the forehead. "Babe has the doctor told you about y/n?" Sam asked slowly, Kat just nodded. "Is she still in her room?" Sam asked now sitting on the side of her bed, Kat looked up as tears ran down her face and shook her head. My heart stopped as I froze, tears pricked my eyes and my whole body hurt, I leant back in my chair running my hands through my hair. My heart went numb.

I heard a click in Kat's bathroom and snapped my head towards the direction of the sound, I sat up straight and looked back at Sam who had the same look of confusion on his face. Just then the bathroom door opened to reveal a wobbly y/n. I jumped up out of my chair as my heart skipped a beat, I ran over to y/n and carefully pulled her into a hug and a passionate kiss.

She pulled away and looked at me like I was a stranger, I ignored it and helped her to the spare bed ( which must be her bed now ).
"She woke up about 30 minutes after you left, but there's something wrong" Kat said sitting up. I couldn't believe y/n was awake and walking by herself, she looked so beautiful even when she had recently had an operation.
Y/n lifted her legs onto the bed and pulled her blanket onto her.

"Hey y/n I missed you so much, how are you doing?" I asked stroking her hand, she looked Kat in the eye before pulling her hand away and looking at me "Who are you?" She asked me pulling her whole body away from me, my heart dropped. "What come on you know me I'm Colby" I said trying to hold back my tears and trying to stop my voice from breaking, "I don't know who you are, please move away from me you are scaring me" she had a look of fear on her face, my heart was in pain my whole body failed, my heart broke. I love her and she doesn't remember me, "please tell me this is a prank" I said looking over to Sam and Kat, tears were now streaming down my face as my voice broke.

"This is the problem, she can't remember anything from the past 3 weeks" Kat said crying, Sam hugged Kat and looked at me with tears now falling down his face. I stood up and backed up into the wall falling to my feet, I cradled my knees into my chest as I sobbed.

-time skip ( 5 minutes )

I stood up and walked towards the door "I can't handle this" I said turning to face Sam and Kat, I reached for the door handle but was interrupted by y/n "oh you are Colby Brock! The man I'm deeply in love with!" She semi-yelled before smiling at me. I was so shocked I froze for a second before running over to her and giving her the best kiss we have ever had, "I fucking hate you" I whispered at the end of the kiss staring into her eyes, "and I fucking love you" she cheekily replied back combing her fingers through my hair, "I love you too".

I sat up and turned to Sam and Kat, Kat was smiling uncontrollably and Sam was still confused "what the hell just happened?" Sam asked loudly "yeah what did happen?" I asked sitting on the side of y/n's bed. "Oh yeah, we pranked you!" Kat yelled picking up the camera on her bed side table, mine and Sams jaws dropped "you bitch" Sam joked, "that's mean, you made me sad" I pulled a sad face into the camera.

Kat and y/n ended the video, they were going to do the outro when they were healed and home. "Umm Kat I know Sam is probably gonna end up editing it but can you please cut out the bits where I ya know kiss y/n and the part she tells me she loves me, so like keep the bit where she said you are Colby brock. I just don't want to release anything yet until I've done something" I said looking down at y/n who looked back up at me smiling. "Yes of course" Kat replied cuddling Sam, "so care to explain what happened while I was gone?" Sam added.

"Oh yeah, so short story y/n got moved into my room 10 minutes after you left, she woke up 30 minutes after you left. We planned the prank, the doctors came in told us some news, you guys got back, we did the prank and that's it" Kat said sighing at the end of her sentence.  Sam and I looked at each other "What news?" Kat and y/n smiled at each other "my blood clot is gone" y/n yelled happily, I almost fell of the bed because of the surprise, Sam stood up and jumped around. "No way really?" Sam asked running over to y/n and giving her a hug, I was so happy and my heart was racing, I stood up and gave y/n a hug before lying next to her on her bed.

Sam returned to his seat next to Kat on her bed "oh and we can go home in a week" Kat added laughing, both Sam and I screamed with joy before I wrapped my arms around y/n and kissed her cheek.

-Time skip (3 hours)-

Sam and Kat has fallen asleep about an hour ago, Sam was lay in bed with Kat spooning her. Y/n was sleepy and on the verge of falling asleep, "I love you and I promise once you are better I'll make you mine" I whispered "hmm w-what did you say?" Y/n asked sleepily I know she didn't hear me because within the next second she was asleep in my arms.
