I was woken by the sunlight creeping in through the blinds, I rubbed my eyes as I looked back expecting to see Colby lying there, but he wasn't. I looked at my phone to see it was 7:30, how was I up at 7:30?

I headed downstairs to see Colby in the kitchen making coffee, I crept up behind him and I grabbed his arm yelling "boo" Colby jumped out of his skin and turned around "oh you fucking bitch" he said playfully hugging me "I made you a coffee and some toast" he handed me a cup of coffee and a plate, I looked up at him with so much love in my eyes I stood on my tiptoes and kissed his cheek "thank you" I said before walking away.

"I have to leave for the airport in half an hour" Colby said as we both grabbed our dirty dishes off the table and walked over to the sink, "I'm gonna go and grab my bags and bring them down here" he said turning and running upstairs.

"What you doing?" Colby said as he walked back down the stairs with his suitcase and XPLR back pack, I jogged over and took his suitcase off him "thank you" he said smiling at me "I was just about to film a tiktok wanna join me?" He followed me into the kitchen and sighed "y/n I can't dance" I placed his bag by the kitchen table and showed Colby the dance "look it's only a spongebob dance, I'll teach you".

After 5 minuets Colby got the hang of it "ok ready" I asked looking back at Colby, he just nodded at me so I pressed the timer. Once we had filmed it I tagged Colby in the caption and locked my phone before joining Colby in the sitting room "I'm gonna call an Uber" Colby pulled his phone out and unlocked it "no I'll drive you" I said taking his phone out of his hands, he just smiled at me "really" he asked crossing his arms I didn't reply I just nodded "thank you" Colby cooed hugging me and kissing my cheek.

-Time skip-

We were both singing along to Aryias songs as I drove to the airport "I'm gonna miss you y/n and if you are gonna have your operation before the end of next week please call me so I can come back" he said taking my hand and caressing it with his thumb "I promise" I said smiling at him but still looking at the road.

We pulled up outside the airport, as I parked my car near the entrance. We both got out of the car and walked round to the boot, he pulled his suitcase out and I closed the boot for him.

We walked through the airport doors and a cold refreshing breeze hit my skin "is it ok if I stay with you till you have to get on the plane?" I asked looking at the ground from nerves, "yes of course you can y/n but my plane isn't leaving for three hours" he walked up to the front desk as I sat in a blue chair waiting for him.

Colby walked over holding his passport and plane ticket, I stood up to join him as we walked to a lovely café. We sat down on a round table by the window "do you want a coffee?" I asked as Colby put his back pack on the floor "yes please, here" he handed me his credit card, I looked him in the eyes and shook my head "you paid for dinner remember" I winked at him before going to get our coffees.

I placed his coffee in front of him on the table as I sat back down "I really like you y/n and I know I have told you this but you don't understand how much I like you" Colby twiddled his thumbs as he said that, "Colby I really like you too, and I've never felt the way I feel about you with anyone" I took a sip of my coffee as it slightly burned my throat. We sat and talked about Kat and her surgery, "I know that you will take some time to recover, but once you are recovered would you maybe fancy going on another date?" Colby smiled at me as he took my hands "I would love that" I replied leaning over the table and kissing his cheek.

-Time Skip-

Colby's flight was now boarding, we both walked to the terminal together, I was going to miss him but he needed this. We reached the terminal and Colby stopped and turned to me "I'm going to miss you y/n, but I'll FaceTime you as much as possible ok?" I nodded as tears began to form in my eyes "I'm going to miss you too Colby" he smiled at me as his eyes scanned over my features, he pulled me into a warm hug as I wrapped my arms around him, we stood there for 10 second before we let go of each other "bye" I whispered as he turned and walked towards the terminal "bye" he replied, I watched him as he disappeared down the corridor and onto the plane.

I stood there for a minute just thinking, I shook my head to stop me from getting too lost in my thoughts. I walked back to my car and text Sam

I placed my phone on the passengers seat and started my car, I sang along to my playlist loving life.
