Rude

I couldn't believe I was going on a date with Colby Brock. I watched as he looked out the window and how his eyes followed every bird that flew past, the sunlight illuminating his skin, his eyes were crystals in the light, he turned his head to look at me "you can't keep your eyes off me" he laughed I playfully smacked his arm "shut up" I joked. "So I'm going to have to go and talk Sam about going to Kansas, and then I'll have to go home and pack my stuff and probably stay the night at home because if I stayed here I'd have to wake up at 4am and we both know I'm not capable of that" I laughed as he said that, it's true Colby can't wake up early, "ok, do you want me to help you pack?" His eyes lit up and a smile came across his face "how about we have our date tonight, I know it won't be exciting but we won't get the chance for ages now, you still have those extra clothes at the traphouse right?" He asked looking up at me while I took a sip of my coffee, I nodded "so you can change into those, we can order postmates and we can pack for a bit but have a date night?" He looked me in the eyes, his face was full of excitement but slowly turned into regret "never mind it was stupid" I grabbed his hand causing him to look back at me "Colby that's an amazing idea and my idea of the perfect first date" I smiled at him as he blushed. We sat there for a while, I was looking out the window admiring the view when I saw Colby taking a picture of me "what are you doing Brock?" I said raising my one eyebrow and smiling at him "just taking a picture for my Instagram story" he smiled at me as I looked back out the window, he was so cute.

We talked for another five minutes, before Colby and I started playing I spy, he was looking out of the window for something beginning with 'c' he looked so cute when he was concentrating I quickly got my phone out of my pocket and took a picture of him on my camera before going onto Instagram and taking a photo of him on there, it was the cutest photo ever so I saved it to my camera roll.

I finished my coffee and Colby needed to talk to Sam "you wanna go back?" I asked pulling Colby out of his thoughts, he nodded his head as we both stood up. I threw my cup in a bin as we passed it, we turned the corner that lead back to Kat's room, a teenage girl came running over "omg your Colby Brock!!" She squealed with excitement "yes I am, what's your name?" He asked the girl politely "Brooke" she turned her head and looked me up and down before pulling a face, she turned back to Colby "can I get a picture with you please?" She asked Colby holding her phone out "of course" he said posing with her they took a selfie together before she looked at me "can you maybe make yourself useful and take a picture of us?!" She said rudely to me I reached my hand out to take her phone before Colby stopped me "come on let's go" he said to me avoiding eye contact "why are you doing this?" The girl cried like a baby "I didn't do anything" she chased after us, Colby stopped and turned around to face her a smile came across her face as she looked at him "I love my fans I really do, but you have no right to talk to her like that! That was disgusting and I'm honestly disappointed that you think it's ok to talk to someone like that especially my friend." He turned back around as I froze for a second and just watched the girl who was in shock before Colby pulled my arm for me to follow him.

"I'm sorry" I said looking at the floor, Colby stopped walking and turned to me "why are you sorry you didn't do anything?" He lifted my chin up with his hand and looked me in the eyes "I should've offered to take a picture in the first place" I said closing my eyes, Colby placed his hand on my cheek "y/n you didn't cause that, she was rude. I won't let her treat you like that ok?" I opened my eyes to see his ocean eyes staring at me, I felt so safe, I just nodded.

We walked back into Kats room, Sam was lay in the bed with Kat. Colby and I laughed at the sight "what?" Sam said sitting up, Colby and I walked over to Kats bed, Colby sat in the chair that he was in earlier and I grabbed the chair I had slept in and moved it up so I was next to Colby.

"Did you tell her?" Colby asked Sam as Kat sat up "Tell me what?" Kat asked worried Sam shook his head, "Sam I think you should tell her" I said looking Sam in the eyes he sighed and nodded, he turned to Kat and took her hand "Kat we found you a donor" Sam said softly, she gasped as tears came to her eyes she put her hand over her mouth and began crying, Sam pulled her into a hug and kissed her head, when she had finished celebrating she turned to look and Colby and I and smiled we both smiled at seeing how happy she was, she looked back at Sam who was now crying, I looked over to Colby and he smiled at me before wrapping his arm around my shoulder. We both looked back at Sam and Kat, Sam took a deep breath in "do you want to know who it's is?" Sam asked calmly Kat nodded in excitement, we all looked at each other before looking back at Kat "it's y/n" Sam said looking at me, Kat looked over at me and smiled "really you would do that for me?" She started crying again, I stood up and hugged her "Kat I would do anything for you" I started crying knowing that I was helping Kat. "Thank you so much!" She squeezed me tighter before letting me go, I sat back down next to Colby.

"Sam, I'm leaving for Kansas tomorrow. I have to go home and pack in maybe 2 hours is it ok if I stay the night at home? Also I will be in Kansas for a week but if anything happens I will come straight back! Also y/n will be coming with me" I looked at Sam and Kats faces they were happy but suddenly changed to a confused expression when Colby said I would be going "why is y/n going? I mean it's ok I'm just asking" Sam asked, Colby and I looked at each other before turning back to Sam and Kat and smiling at them "We are going on a date" Colby said, Sam and Kat gasped "no way really?" Kat said excitedly, Colby and I nodded "aww I'm so happy for you guys" Sam said hugging us.

-Time skip-

"Sam y/n and I are gonna go now, if you need anything please call us" Colby said standing up out of his chair "will do brother, and don't have too much fun without us" Colby let out a giggle "of course brother" he pulled Sam into a hug as I walked over to Katrina "I'll see you tomorrow, I love you so much Kat" I hugged her as she replied "I'll see you tomorrow, thank you for everything and don't miss me too much" I let go and laughed "I won't" I turned to Sam "I'll see you tomorrow Sam, if you need me please call me" he nodded before pulling me into a hug "thank you so much for everything y/n I thought when you walked out earlier you hated me, but you were doing the kindest thing ever. I love you so much you saved the love of my life" he patted my back "I'm just so happy I could help, I would do it for you and Colby if it meant you lived" I whispered so only Sam could hear me.

"Bye guys" Colby and I said leaving the room "bye" Sam and Kat yelled after us. We walked down the stairs and out to Colby car, he walked round to the passengers door and opened it for me "such a gentleman" I giggled climbing into the car he didn't say anything he just winked.

We both buckled our seatbelts, Colby started his car and looked at me "ready for our first date?" He said smiling at me and grabbing my hand "of course" I blushed, he smiled before kissing my hand and placing it back on my lap so he could drive.
