-Colby's pov-

Y/n walked out the room not saying anything, Sam rushed past me but I grabbed his arm stopping him from chasing her "dude let go" Sam said trying to pull his arm away from my grip, "give her some time brother please" I said shaking my head Sam looked me in the eyes and nodded before walking back over to his chair.

"I'm such an idiot I take it out on everyone else, I push away the people I love and make people hate me, I'm terrified that Kat won't find a new kidney I'm scared to lose her Colby I'm scared to lose her" Sam said breaking down I stood up and walked over to him "Sam look at me" Sam turned his head and looked me in the eyes "she will find a donor trust me please, and y/n doesn't hate you she could never hate you Sam you are like her brother you just hurt her that's all. She will be back just give her time" I said pulling Sam into a hug, he nodded as he sobbed into my shoulder.

I don't know how long we stood there hugging but at least Sam had stopped crying now. We pulled away from the hug and both sat down "there is something I need to tell you though" I said leaning forwards in my chair and playing with my rings Sam looked up at me and waited "my dad had a heart attack yesterday and I don't know what to do I didn't want to delay filming the YouTube video" I didn't look up because I didn't want to see Sam's face because I knew he would be disappointed "Colby why didn't you tell me?! Your family is more important than a YouTube video, and I don't think we are going to be filming it any time soon" he gestured towards Kat "you need to be with them Colby, and please tell me next time brother" I shook my head "I can't leave you Sam, especially not now you need me!" My heart ached as I said that, I wanted to see my dad but I wanted to stay and support Sam "Colby y/n is gonna be here to help me and all of our other friends I have Jake and Corey and more, don't worry brother you need to go home and see them. Like you said Kat will be ok" he sighed, I just nodded knowing I had to go home.

-Your pov-

I admired the pictures on the walls showing the muscles in the body and what different bones were called, I shuffled my about because I had lost the feeling in my butt from waiting so long. Five minutes later the door opened as a doctor walked in his name was Dr.Brown "the results are back but first I want you to know if it's not positive we will find one" I nodded as he sat down in his chair, this was the doctor that was in Kat's room earlier and he was responsible for looking after Kat.

"Also y/n if it is positive I want you to know that it will hurt, and it will take you some time to recover but it will save Kat's life but if it's not positive there's nothing you can do I'm afraid" I nodded as he pulled out a piece of paper from his folder "now we have had another person volunteer so if you aren't positive they may be" I nodded "ok I'm ready" I said playing with my sleeves "I'm sorry" he said looking at me.

-Colby's pov-

Sam and I sat in silence lost in thought. "You ok?" I asked as Sam looked up and nodded, someone knocked on the door causing me and Sam to stand up and walk towards the door. The door was opened by the doctor that I saw in here earlier "Hi I'm Dr.Brown" he said shaking my hand "is there any news Dr?" Sam said nervously biting his nails I pulled his hand away from his mouth and placed my hand on his back, Dr.Brown nodded his head "I'm afraid there is" a lump formed in my throat from fear, I looked over to Sam who had tears in his eyes "There were two donors offered but I'm afraid it's not good" I took a sharp breath as my stomach started to twist I looked at Sam, tears were now rolling down his face and his hand were shaking, he started to hyperventilate slightly and panic, I rubbed his back trying to calm him down "But there is good news" Sam snapped his head towards me as I stared at him cluelessly, we both looked back at Dr.Brown he was now smiling "we did find a match" Sam lit up with happiness as he pulled me into a hug, he and I cried happily as we celebrated. After we had finished having a mini celebration Sam stopped and looked at me a confused expression replace his happy one "Who's the donor?" He asked looking at me before turning to look at the Dr, Dr.Brown smiled but didn't say anything Sam looked back at me cluelessly I shrugged my shoulders before we both looked back at the Dr, "Who is the donor?" I asked this time, Dr.Brown stepped aside as someone behind him said "I am" stepping forward so we could see them.

Sam and I looked at each other confused "your the donor? So you are a match?" Sam asked "yes I'm a match" y/n said smiling "How did you find out so quickly?" I asked looking at y/n "well when Sam yelled at me I knew how broken he was, so when I walked out I went to go and find the doctor that I saw in here talking to you, I asked if I was a match to be a donor and I was" she smiled at Sam and I waiting for us to speak.

"You can't, it will be too much for you, I can't let you go through this pain" Sam said grabbing y/n hands "I'm going to go and let you discuss about this" Dr.Brown said closing the door behind him. "Sam I know how much it will hurt the Dr told me, but Sam, Kat is one of my best friends and she's your soulmate and you know it. I don't care what you say I'm going to be her donor Sam, who knows when you might get another match? But I'm not taking any chances" y/n said with a serious tone, Sam pulled her into hug and squeezed her tightly while they rocked back and forth, "thank you thank you thank you" Sam said crying as he and y/n hugged.

I didn't think it was possible but I think I just fell more in love with her. My heart warmed whenever I was around her and I was always comfortable with her. The fact that she would go and find a doctor to see if she was a match was brave and amazing but the fact that she is going to do this no matter what showed how kind and pure she truly was.

When Sam finally let her go, I looked over to her as she smiled at me, I couldn't help but smile as I pulled her into me hugging her tightly "you truly are the best" I whispered to her before I kissed her head.
