My eyes fluttered as sunlight filled the room. I looked up to see a sleeping Colby, his eyes were glued shut and his skin glowed in the sunlight, I had fallen asleep with my head on his shoulder but he hadn't moved my head, the idea of falling asleep on Colby Brock's shoulder made me blush. I looked over to see Sam and Kat still asleep cuddling under the blanket.
I slowly lifted my head off Colby's shoulder not wanting to wake him up. I rubbed my eyes as I stretched my back. I slowly stood up and walked over to the table that I had put my phone on while it was charging. I took my phone off charge and headed to the kitchen.
I took a glass out of the cupboard and walked over to the sink, I filled my glass up with cold water before taking a sip, the coldness of the water sent a shiver down my spine, cold water always felt refreshing especially in the morning. I walked over to the kitchen table and placed my glass on a coaster before pulling a chair out from underneath it and sitting down, I pulled my phone out from my pocket to see that it was 7:24, "wow" I whispered to myself I hadn't woken up this early without an alarm in over 4 months. I clicked off twitter and went to tiktok, I keep my phone on do not disturb so that no notifications wake me up in the night. When tiktok loaded I was shocked when I saw I had 99+ notifications, I clicked on my notifications seeing that at least 1000 people had followed me, I went onto my profile to see I had 5.6k followers, my jaw dropped, how did this happen? I remembered that Kat and I had posted a tiktok together on her account, so I went onto her account and clicked on our video together, it had 258k likes and 120k comments, I clicked onto the comments and I saw loads of comments saying 'who's that girl?' And 'does anyone ship her with Colby?' I scrolled down in the comments a bit more, I saw some comments like 'she's so ugly' and 'why is she friends with Kat?!' They didn't really phase me because they don't know me so if they judge me they aren't important, I saw this one account who had replied to both of the mean comments, one of them said 'she is not ugly! Yes that may be your opinion but if your opinion is to put someone down and make them less comfortable in themselves then you need to get off this app!' I liked both of the comments and replied to the account 'thank you so much 🖤 I appreciate it.'
After about an hour and 20 minutes I heard a door open, the faint sound of footsteps got louder as they got closer. Kat walked into the kitchen immediately turning to look at me, "oh there you are, how long have you been awake?" She asked as she pulled a chair out from under the table and sat on the opposite side to me. "I've been awake since 7:24." I said turning my phone off and placing it on the table face down, Kat looked at me raised her eyebrow, "I don't even know how that's possible" she said laughing and shaking her head.
Kat and I sat and talked for another 15 minutes, "Do you want any breakfast?" Kat asked standing up, I nodded "Yes please I can help you make it" I said starting to get up before Kat stopped me, "Hey no sit down your the guest, I'll make us some breakfast, scrambled eggs and toast?" I smiled at her as she began to get stuff out of the cupboard.
