The next morning, As awoke at 10 o'clock from a knock on the door to her suite. She called for Dobby and told him to open the door and then leave. When she heard to door open she called

"Come in." To As' surprise, her Aunt Narcissa glided into her bedroom and sat gracefully on the end of her bed. As sat up against three large pillows.

"Morning, dear. I thought I'd have some breakfast brought up for you and then once you're ready we could go shopping together."

"Thank you. Where will we be going?"

"Well," Narcissa said as she went over to the wardrobe and began choosing an outfit for As, "Everywhere." A sincere smile spread across her face. "If you go and shower, I'll lay your clothes out in here and then wait in the sitting room with your breakfast."

"Okay," As replied and yawned widely leaving the comfort of her duvet, shivering with the cold. She ran to the shower to warm up and got in and out pretty quickly. The water woke her up and she emerged from the steamy room and walked over to her bed where Narcissa had laid out immaculate clothing for her to wear. Dressing in a rush and swiping on some eyeliner and lip-stain As entered the sitting room where Narcissa awaited her.

Overall, As and Narcissa counted the day as a success. They had shopped in many different countries in designer shops (magic ones); Narcissa was both rich and a witch so this was perfectly possible. The pair dined in Paris before returning to the Malfoy Manor. As had been astound by the shopping experience, never had she been spoiled as much. Narcissa enjoyed having As there and they got on extremely well. While As loved her cousin and Aunt she wasn't so certain about her Uncle. If As and her Uncle continued to tolerate each other then there would be no problems.

Days passed in the Manor and As was acquainted with the Manor (or with everywhere she was allowed to go) and her few days had been spent exploring, or spending time with Draco and her Aunt. Her Uncle she had scarcely seen and she assumed he was holed up in his office. She had also taken liberties with the vast library and spent many hours there, taking some books back up to her suite to line her bookshelf along with the ones she had had bought for her when she went shopping. Research on Nicholas Flamel showed him to be the only known maker or the Philosopher's Stone. As read as much as she could find about him and the stone and stored the information away.

In almost no time at all, Draco and As were getting ready to leave for Kings Cross. As' suite was looking more lived in but still unnaturally tidy, the way she liked it. As had taken many items of clothing and added them to her suitcase along with some of her new and glorious possessions. Lucius and Narcissa who both acted superior and cold as they would be out in public, accompanied the cousins to the platform and watched them dutifully as they boarded the train. The train blew a departing cloud of steam, beginning the return journey to their beloved school.
