tw: partying and alcohol

Nicole hit my arm, "What the fuck,". This statement was usually meant to be a question but it didn't sound like one. Dani stayed still, shock in her face slightly turning into happy confusion.

"So this is a little weird," Billie interrupted their stares. "You guys gonna get in orrrr?", she gestured towards the car doors with her arm hanging out of the window. Sorry I mouthed to Billie with a shrug as I walked around the car to get into the passengers seat. My roommates soon following behind me.

"Heyyyy," I greeted her after buckling in, accepting her big hug. My friends watching in awe from the backseat. "This is Nicole and Dani," I pointed them out, "they aren't normally shy. Or quiet for that matter," I tried to explain.

Before Billie could respond, Nicole blurted out, "Hi. iloveyoualot," with a nervous laugh. This earned a loud laugh from Billie.

"I love you a lot too," she responded with a smile, turning around to hold Nicoles hand.

"Yeah you're like the coolest person ever," Dani added, getting another laugh out of Billie.

"Thank you," she removed her hand from Nicole's to fist bump Dani and eventually put her hand back on the wheel after facing forward and putting the car in drive. They had a lot of questions for Billie and I as the drive began. They were excited to learn how we met, and how Billie's life is, and what it's like to meet Justin Bieber, and lots more.

My phone screen lit up the dark car, I looked down to see what it was.

Nicole: no fucking shit, everyone on earth is gay for her too

I shot her a dirty look before laughing and rolling my eyes.

We parked in a lot for a Starbucks that was down the road from the party. Once we got out of the car we could already hear the music. Walking to the party, Dani squealed in excitement, causing Nicole to do the same.

"So I get to meet Eric?" I asked Billie, a knot forming in my stomach.

"Yep! Excited?" she nudged me, I think she could tell I wasn't. I nervously laughed in response.

The house was a mansion, people flooded the yard, colorful lights everywhere.

"I'm gonna go explore, find myself a hubby," Dani told me as she disappeared into the crowd. Nicole nodded at that idea before telling us the same thing, finding her way inside. I stayed by Billie because she wanted me to meet some people.

She introduced me to a couple of people whose name I already forgot. We made our way inside as I heard a squeal from Billie, indicating she noticed something interesting. She grabbed my hand and dragged me through the crowd to a familiar face that was sitting by a pong table.

It was him, any positivity in my body left. "Eric!" she screamed, pulling him in for a quick one armed hug, my hand still in her other hand. "This is Jade!"

"Jade!" he exclaimed, shaking my hand as I studied his movements. "Billie doesn't fucking shut up about you," he told me, shooting Billie a smirk. She smacked her lips and rolled her eyes. That made me feel better. He might be her man but she only talks about me. I loosened up at the thought of that, a smile forming on my face.

"Ahh," I sighed, "I heard you're quite the guy!"

Billie laughed at this statement. "Thanks for the invite," I tried to talk to him but he had his eyes on Billie. Plus it was so damn loud. "I'm gonna go get a drink," I shouted to Billie before realizing that Eric was no longer interested in our conversation, I parted ways.

When I got to the kitchen I was rudely brought back to reality with the normal lighting. I poured myself a drink, took a sip, and downed it. I needed to get drunk asap. I'm not fucking with the whole third-wheeling-with-Billie-and-the-douchebag thing. I looked around the kitchen, the drink slowly hitting me as I observed my surroundings.

There were people talking in groups here and there, drinks in their hands. I went to pour myself another drink as I was interrupted, "Jade?" I felt a hand on my back.

I put the bottle down, grabbing my new drink and turning around to see who was there. I was shocked to see an incredibly tall guy. He was familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it. I just looked up at him confused. "Its Mike. Room 300, remember?"

Ohhhhhh. "Whats up? I thought RAs are the ones who shut parties down," I joked.

"Well we aren't on campus, are we?" he laughed with his attractive ass face. "No one has to know," he laughed, it was adorable. He went to pour himself a drink as I downed the rest of my new drink. It was really starting to hit me.

I kept talking to Mike, he was charming, and I didn't know anyone else here. We got our drinks and found a seat at a couch that was in the middle of a crowd. As we sat down I noticed Nicole and Dani playing beer pong against two fairly cute boys at a table about 10 feet from us. Billie and Eric still talking at their spot next to the table. I rolled my eyes at the sight of Eric with Billie.

"What's wrong," Mike snapped me out of it.

"Nothing. I'm drunk as fuck," I laughed with him. I tried to keep a steady conversation with him but I was slowly getting drunker and drunker. I think he was too because at some point our conversation just didn't make sense anymore. It started with soccer but I don't even know where it was now.

He was on the UCLA soccer team and urged me to come watch him play sometime. I agreed to, but I didn't even know what I was agreeing to. I just wanted to see his cute smile. Eventually I locked eyes with Billie who I noticed was watching me while Eric talked in her ear. She smiled at me, but the sight of Eric made me so salty, I just looked away.

I looked back at Mike who was studying my face, biting his lip. I leaned in a little bit, looking at his lips. Eventually he kissed me, I expected him to but it still came as a shock. It was a long kiss, and he was really good at it.

When I pulled away I looked off to the side to see Billie looking at me with a disappointed look in her face. Fuck. I downed the rest of my third drink and told Mike I had to go to the bathroom. I just needed a minute alone. Why the fuck did I kiss him? I don't even know him.

I stumbled down the hallway, checking behind each door to see if it was a bathroom, interrupting more than one hook up. Eventually I found one. I locked the door behind me and sat on the floor, back against the bathtub. I don't know why I suddenly felt so emotional, I was really drunk though. The room was spinning.

I couldn't have been on the floor for more than 30 seconds before I heard a knock on the door.

"Occupied," I shouted.

"It's me," I heard Billie's voice from the other side of the door. I got up to unlock the door and let her in.
