Amy’s PoV

With a smug look plastered on my face I walk away from the younger girl sitting in the chair with an awestruck look on her face. That’ll teach the little minx! I wait till I’m around the corner before I burst out laughing, like a proper evil witches laugh. I can’t help it, it just feels right under the current circumstances.

She actually bought that shit! Silly, silly little girl. Like Danny would actually do that to someone, God knows he’s the kindest most loyal man you could ever hope to meet. The only time he’s ever done something to hurt me was because of that little snivelling toad. I stop laughing and feel my face flush with anger. Oh well she’s not going to trust him anymore, she’ll be gone soon.

I walk away from the stage, a huge smirk plastered to my face and head towards the little office back stage where I sit during the performance. This is also the stage crews office, which I don’t mind part from the fact the majority of them are pervy old men.

“Alright Miss King?” Smithy, the lighting man asks me with a crooked, dentaire filled smile. I like Smithy, even if he is old enough to be shipped off to the museum of prehistoric history. I smile back at him, humming slightly as I nod in his general direction will trying to find a seat in the cramped, little room. When I finally find one I sit down and cross my legs making sure no one can see up my skirt. Before taking my BlackBerry out of my jacket pocket and holding it tightly in my left hand. It’s like my nervous twitch, I have to hold it. I just have to.

“So how is she then? The young lassie our Danny found?” asked the Scottish man who did the curtains, Dougal, I think his name is. I shrugged half heartedly.

“Didn’t you ask when you were talking to her?” Smithy’s daughter, Katie, queried. She was looking at me with those big blue eye of hers. She’d always creeped me out, I don’t know why but ever since she was a little girl I couldn’t stand to be alone with her. When she looks at you its like she can see deep into your soul. Scary as fuck I can tell you!

“Haven’t spoken to her.” The lie slipped of my tongue like water dripping out the tap. Smooth and slick. Flawless.

“Yes you have, I saw you talking to her not five minutes ago.” She accused narrowing her eyes making her appear even more frightening. Bugger....

“Eh...I...emm...I’d dropped my phone and eh...she picked it up for me. That’s all we talked about.” I lied again this time I knew I wasn’t convincing anyone. God knows I wasn’t even convincing myself!

Katie glared at me knowing full well I was fibbing but the others didn’t seem to care. They just nodded and carried on with what they were doing before I entered the room. I sighed a sigh of deep relief and turned on my phone. 5 missed calls, 10 unread texts. I groan loudly, making me the centre of attention once more.

“You OK miss?” Smithy asked, looking at me with deep concern.

“Yeah...” I trailed off opening the first text. I knew exactly who it was from. And he knew exactly why I want talking to him.

Hey baby, I’m sorry! I miss you so much, please baby take me back. We both said things we didn’t mean, I can’t live without you....I love you! <3>

I make a sound pretty similar to the snort of a pig. Yeah of course you love me, that’s why you slapped me straight across the face is it. Stupid pea brained buffoon!

I open the second text just to keep myself amused;
