You gave me three years of happy memories and promising love. You've stood by me and helped morphe into the strong-minded woman I am today. You introduced me to things I wouldn't have dared to do and taught me things about the world my parents were too scared to do. Athena's heart clenched as she read over the text message. The tears were daring to fall from her eyes, but she didn't want the workers to look at her weird as she was boarding the plane.
For the past five months, she has been staying at one of Ricky's homes in Russia and now she was on a plane to San Francisco, California.
They had up and left one night for a 'surprise vacation' that had later turned out to be more of an escape than an actual vacation. There, Athena learned about what Ricky and his family ACTUALLY did for a living.
