𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐃 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍"I still don't know why we're fraternizing with these colonizers papa. All they have done is take the riches from our beautiful continent, leave, and still try to hold power." Ashanti grumbled.
She could have been doing community service or trying to help other African countries but here she was in Northern Europe to converse with a group of Mayo mon- Royals.
She's been assigned to stay for the next four weeks to come up with strategies and introduce their culture to the people of Maltovia while her father heads back to their country to do what kings are supposed to do. Help the people, rule, make alliances, etc.
"Why do you hate white people so much." Sundiata, Ashanti's father laughed.
"I don't know, maybe the countless years of their colonization, stealing other country's wealth then painting them as poor, labeling black people as animals, slavery, strip or steal our culture and make it bland. How about setting off to find spices but still season their food with salt and pepper. Papa, do you still want me to continue because I can go all day." She said rolling her eyes.
"I get it Shan, but you can't prosper with all that hatred in your heart. Now, before you start, I'm not telling you to forget what their people have done, but give them a chance. Richard and his family are good people. Plus, it's going to be a long four weeks if you're always angry." He said looking up from his Candy Crush game.
"Okay, I get it but why couldn't Kento or Mara come with me." She whined. Ashanti knew her behavior resembled the one of a child but she was fed up.
"I told you they'll come during your last week here. Plus, aren't you friends with that boy, baby what's his name?" Sundiata said nudging his wife.
Candace, Ashanti's mom quickly pulled out her headphones and turned to her husband and daughter. Ever since Ashanti put her on the show Lucifer her head has been in her phone.
