Chapter 9: Marines are Coming! Taken in the Night!

No one's POV
     After hearing Usopp's message the Marines were on their way. They've been trying to capture Carly for at least 4 years now, but they never had any luck... until now. A few men snuck into the snoring girls room and took her, giving her a sleeping shot to make she she would stay asleep. They took her back to the ship and sent her on her way to a place where she would not come back from alive. They had not gotten far, but were still very close by morning.

Zoro's POV
     I walked into Carly's hospital room and rubbed my eyes.
"Alright sleeping beauty, it's noon and the living have awakened." I joked as I went to pull the covers down. The covers flew off, but they didn't reveal anyone sleeping under them. The only thing I found in the room was a marines hat which made me remember what Usopp had said. He had called the marines,.. and they actually came and took her.
"I'm gonna kill them." I whispered under my breath before walking out of her room to go see Luffy.
     "I can't believe they took her! I was actually starting to like her!" Luffy yelled in anger after I explained to the crew what had happened. I sighed,
"So was I Luffy." I mumbled under my breath. We were planning to find her. We weren't exactly sure where she was going, but we do have people who might know.
     I held the pirate up against the wall and frowned.
"Make this easier and talk. I already made an oath to protect your captain, so I'm not gonna hurt her. Now, if she was captured by the marines, where would they take her." I interrogated yet another member of her crew. He gulped and looked me straight in the eyes.
"If they took Captain then they would send her to a village nearby here, and tie her to the wooden planks in the yard next to the marine headquarters." He told me while shaking in his boots. I dropped him and my eyes widened. Luffy knew exactly what I had been thinking.
"Hey Zoro isn't that where they held you?" He asked with his hands on his hips. That crucifixion yard was where they tie pirates up for a period of time before killing them! I turned towards the crew and clenched my fists.
"We have to travel back to that village before it's too late!"
