Acting Weird

*Sonic's POV*

"Knuckles? Silver? What are you two doing here?" I asked.

'Oh, yay! The secret couple are here!' Dark said sarcastically.

'They aren't dating.' I thought.

'Why else would they hang out with each other all of the time?' Dark asked.

'Because they are really great friends. Plus, why would Knuckles like Silver? He always blushes and stuff around Rouge.' I thought as I lead the two inside.

'Go ahead and think what you want.' Dark said.

We sat down as I gave them a curious look.

"How's the dare coming?" Knuckles asked.

I sighed. "He's a hopeless case, but I'm not going to stop trying. I'll find a way!"

Silver smiled. "Yeah, good luck with that."

We sat in a slightly awkward silence. I noticed Knuckles and Silver glancing at each other often.

"Uh... you two are acting weird..." I said.

"What do you mean?" Silver asked nervously.

Knuckles looked at Silver, then back at me. "What are you talking about?"

'They. Are. A. Couple!' Dark shouted as loud as possible.

'Shut up, Dark!' I yelled back in my mind.

"It's just... you two aren't acting like yourselves." I said to the two.

"Actually, you're not acting like yourself." Knuckles said. "You look like something's bothering you."

'Yeah, it's called Dark.' I thought.

'Since when was I an 'it'?' Dark asked.

'Since you were born.' I replied.

"Uh... Sonic?" Silver asked. "You okay?"

"Why are you zoning out?" Asked Knuckles.

"Uh... no reason." I said.

'Hurtful!' Dark said. 'I'm not an 'it'! Technically, I am you, so you're calling yourself an 'it'!'

'I really hate you.' I said.

'I hate you more!' Dark replied.

I must've growled because Knuckles and Silver looked at me confusingly.

"What?" I asked.

"Yeah, we're the ones acting weird." Knuckles rolled his eyes and stood up. Silver followed suit. "You have a week to complete the dare. See ya." Then they both left.

I sighed as I leaned back into the couch. How am I suppose to make Shadow submissive and defenseless?

'I have an idea.' Dark said.

'I should be scared... right?' I said.

'Oh, I know what he's talking about!' Exe yelled.

'Exe, will you shut up!?' Yelled Dark. 'Now, about this idea...'

'This better be good.' I mumbled.

'Don't worry. Dark's got this.' Dark replied.

I sighed and listened to his 'idea'.
