Once we arrive, Johanna takes us to the amity dome where a croud gathers to welcome us. We get some food, Naturally avoiding the bread, before following Johanna to her office.
Once we get there Cara does most of the talking, which, neither supprises me nor do I mind Much. This takes a couple hours but once it's finnished I split up from the rest of the group.
"where are you going" tris askes
"I need to talk to Evelyn."
we both promised to try a bit harder now to get along. Its funny to think that it practically stopped another war. Tris nods and kisses me before I leave.
"See you in a bit yeah?"
"yeah." I say.

I find Evelyn packing her things in Eiriodite headquarters. Or anything she does have after being factionless for so long.
"Evelyn."
"Hello Tobias, "
"What are your plans, where are you going to live?"
"some friends of mine have a small apartment on the edge of the city, I will stay there for a while."
"that's good..."
It's hard to talk to my mother, after being apart for so long. I hardly know her after all.
I still remember the day I found out she was alive. She left me some cryptic message and met me at the train platform. I know it is a horrible thing to say but it was easier while she was dead. Not that she really ever was dead anyway.

While Tobias is with Evelyn I take Cara and Amar to the dauntless headquarters. I can tell Amar loves being back, he went everywhere constantly talking about something that had happened somewhere laughing to himself.
Cara just looked confused.
"How did you not fall in?" she asks as we show her the casam.
"Easy, just don't fall in." Amar says.
I look around, lapping up all the memories, the bad ones like when Al, Drew and Peter tryed to through me in the casam, but also the good ones like when me and Tobias had our first kiss on the rocks below.
"Yes but what if you do?" Cara asks
"Then your as good as dead" I say, not smiling anymore. "in fact you are dead."

By the time we get back to the truck, it is getting late. Tobias is waiting for us whilst gently kicking the tire.
"You ready to go?" he calls.
It was more of a statement than a question though. I know this place holds too many bad memories for him.
"Yeah" I say "how'd it go with Evelyn?"
"Alright" I nod.
Its good he is getting on better with his mom but I still don't trust her. I think Tobias knows this as he never talks about her much.
On the journey back, Amar talks non stop about his time in Dauntless, which I don't mind as it stops me thinking about other things, like Caleb.

Once we are back at the beuru, me and tris walk hand in hand back to the dormitory untill we are outside the door.
"you ok?" I ask tris.
I could never understand what is going though her head right now but I know loosing all your family can't be easy.
"No, but I'm coping." I nod, pulling her into me.
"Thank you," she says looking up at me.
I kiss her passionately and she raps her arms around me pulling me closer.
"I love you, you know" I say, looking her directly in the eye
"I know"
